I am French too and I must deliver a message. Islamophobia created hatred towards your people, I know it because my family are so scared that they just categorized everyone since we got so much trouble with terrorism, women who aren’t Muslim and are harassed because they are driving, wearing their clothes etc… And there was this incident where muslim mane were killed by an other believer because they were drinking alcohol ? I mean people feel so much insecure in France and because of the origin of most of troublemaker if I could say it this way, people became scared and hated on other. It gives a very bad image of muslim who for most of them are well integrated, really nice polite people. FRANCE is supposed to be a country where you can believe in whatever religion, you can wear whatever you want, the country of freedom. In both way muslim should not get hate and people who don’t believe should not get bad insult either. We choose the way we want to live and no one should impose their religion or their beliefs on anyone. It goes both way and I am sorry sincerely for people who suffer from hatred going both ways. Please do know that not only muslim get hate also Jew, people with no religion, women. France became a country of hate from every one though there is so much nice French people. It is too bad. 😢

@@darrenscott6982 I actually don’t think so. I personally love France even if we have a lot of insecurities, violence, hatred well it is still a very good country, beautiful history, culture, most of the people are nice even if there are still well bad racist judgy people everywhere. As a French who has no religion even if I feel insecure (not because of Muslim but because of people with no education and respect, we forget to mention all the young troublemaker we have from all backgrounds, rich poor, white, black, religion or not, it’s just non educated people with no respect) I like this country. As a mixed person I love to see that much diversity in our country, in my university there is many people of many different origins and it’s cool to talk about it and exchange. Sadly not everyone is this open to other ethnicities, cultures or religions. But it’s everywhere America, England, Germany, Asia and even in Muslim countries, there is not a single place where you won’t find racism somewhere. Maybe not that much for sure but I still hope that things will slowly get better, France is my home after all even with its flaws and its not that good politician 😅🤷

The way that they would never discriminate anyone like this, except for us. The fact that we dress for Allah and be modest for Allah, and they're still mad about it. I don't understand how being modest can cause such commotion, but when people show skin it doesn't matter. I don't understand why we can't just each do our own thing and worry about ourselves rather than others. It would've been much easier for him and you if he kept his thoughts and his actions to himself, but he didn't. Such an old age yet such childish actions. We Muslim women have had enough! Thank you so much for having the courage to post this video and to showcase what we go through. It's the fact that I got some disgusting acts done towards me, and none when there's a man I'm related to. (Maybe try to be a little bit safer next time, because this could've happened to you regardless if there was a man or not, but maybe the situation would've been different since that's what it was for me.) When I would walk alone in France in the morning to get breakfast or to see the sites of the city, I would get harassed verbally by all sorts of people. When my brother and my dad walked around with me, I never even got any side eyes towards me. There was a man who tried to follow me at the store and kept making gestures from far away, but once he saw my dad he ran away. May Allah protect you at all times.

I am curious what would be the reaction of an Arabic man somewhere in the more conservative parts of the Middle East if a woman goes there dressed with a mini skirt? Probably it won’t be accepted and will be considered disrespectful and the reactions would be aggressive. But if you go to Western Europe with your traditional attire you expect to be treated with full respect and to be accepted the way you are. I don’t like this double standard. It’s called hypocrisy!

doesnt this reflect the competence of that person? why do we have to marginalize a whole country? the way a woman should dress should never be judged by another person whatsoever, like who do they think they are? so its bad overall women should not be judged in ANY country by any MEN OR WOMEN

You don't need to be somewhere to research their policies and past actions. Muslim countries are not open to anyone who is different in religion or sexual orientation such as lgbt. They are also oppressive to their women to extreme extents. You can keep denying this in the comments but then your just lying. Do some research yourself.

As a French Muslim, we are proud of what you have done. But in truth, if it made so much noise, it's because you are known on the networks, otherwise the media ignore this kind of aggression towards hijabis. As French Muslims, unfortunately, this kind of aggression, sometimes verbal and sometimes even more violent, doesn't happen just once... So it's difficult to file a complaint each time, especially when we don't have proof. and we know that the French state will not defend us. I got called to the principal when I was 14 because I was wearing a long dress (it wasn't an abaya) and he threw it at me for I don't know how many minutes. Even if I had filed a complaint, I know that nothing would have happened but that I would have just made people talk about me... I was born in this country, I was educated there, I have my family and my friends here. But this constant unhappiness, being constantly discriminated against in my own country, makes us want to go far away from here. and I have a lot of hijabi friends, no one wants to stay in France, we all want to leave, we don't want our children later to suffer the same thing we experienced.

I am not French, but i have heard from a French guy that in France religion have no place in schools or colleges, or in general public spaces. So conspicuous clothing commonly worn due to religious reasons will be banned in these spaces. Either you hijabis will have to try to democratically change French laws or leave the country as you said. Sorry abt ur situation btw.
