We finished putting together the metal frame and in this video we are applying the wooden rafters and side boards to the metal frame. The metal siding and roofing will then be applied to the wooden components. We experienced a few "bumps" along the way. The metal pieces are marked but not quite exactly. We had to change a few upright poles but fortunately it was noticed before we were too far into the project. The building had to be level and we used cement blocks for this which created a space of about 18 inches below the bottom of the frame. We will build a block wall in those areas to prevent the fill dirt that we will put inside the building from falling out so it maintians a solid floor. It started raining the day I was working on the block wall so we are waiting for the weather to improve. They arrived today and ran the electric wire from the barn to the well head so we are ready to have the well pump installed. We are 13 days from arrival of the goats and LG dogs! Still a lot to get finished. I keep telling myself " This is fun!" LOL
