1. That was an absolutely fantastic intro with the drone backing out to reveal the letters of "Joshua Tree." 2. I continue to watch Nikita & Karina with bated breath for signs of "are they?" or "aren't they." This has been ongoing since Cuba & Asia. 3. I'm stoked that Matt & Nikita will be travelling together again! I think the last time you were all together, you were stowed away in a quad room on a cruise ship!!

It's pretty obvious, even if they don't say anything. I suspected they were a couple way back in the Mexico/Cuba vlogs and became certain back in the south-east Asia vlogs. C'mon, Nikita and Corina, say something! The secret's out!

I lived in Palmdale CA for few years.... and did you know that The Jushua tree only grows in two places in the world. I believe besides Palmdale, CA, it grows in Israel and is mentioned in the Bible and yes U2’s album does refer to this.

We wanted to go to Joshua Tree National Park this summer and the weather was 108 and all the major hikes were closed due to the heat index and water levels. Was a pretty big bummer but we still plan on heading out there again! Great stuff guys as always!

I think I forgot a major attraction when I went on and on a week or so ago about Butte County, Chico and all the attractions we have to offer here. I'm sure you have both had many Sierra Nevada Pale Ales over the years, and the original Sierra Nevada brewery is in Chico! They do tours and have a wonderful restaurant headed by chef Micheal Iles, my chef-instructor from culinary school. I'm sure you would enjoy a tour of Sierra Nevada's brewery and tap room. Huell Howser actually did a couple of California's Gold shows from the Chico/Butte County area and they are available to view FREE at iTunes if you'd like to get a little taste of (10 or 20 years ago) Butte County/Chico before committing to visit.

It's actually a very cool and interesting place to visit. I have seen several travel vidoes and a documentary about it. I was saddened by the closed-minded attitude they had while talking about it. Every other spiritual belief (and building) they have seen have received nothing but respect from Angkor Wat to Stonehenge, but new age spirituality doesn't deserve the same courtesy? Color me disappointed.

Hope you don't mind (I am 20 or more years older than you), but I didn't hear much of the commentary while you were in the park. In my mind, I was hearing "In God's Country" from U2's "The Joshua Tree" album. Seemed fitting to the landscape.
