Mike and Melissa, I am sitting here watching one of the best commercials for Kubota. Normally, I do not watch commercials. However, I have watched this one. Your association with Kubota is a model that companies would be wise to follow. Honest description of features and no high pressure hype! Well done.

I had four daughters and two sons, it was a wonderful time for me when the kids were at home, now that the kids have gone their ways the quietness and loneliness get to me... I can't get rid of our old van because of all the family memories it was part of. Eva has been raised right and has a good head on her shoulders. I don't see her going in the wrong direction, her mom and dad have done a great job of raising and loving her. I can sort of feel your loneliness with Eva gone, it never entirely goes away but it's a good thing. Nice tractor, if I was a young man, I would do some trading myself.👍

Our 2 closest Kub dealerships (about 50 miles from each other) carry a very different inventory from yours. No skid loaders, a couple of wheeled ones, tons of mini-ex but none of the larger ones like yours and a slew of tractors including quite a few large ags in the 100-200 HP range

The auto-throttle has been standard in the Grand L series for years. I bought my Grand L4060 in 2019, and everything you showed on the new LX 4020 (and more) is already in the Grand L series. In fact, one of the many features that made me go to Kubota instead of other brands was the integrated REAL third function valve option. Do most people NEED all the features in the Grand L (and now in this LX 4020)? No… but it sure is nice to have! If I ever replace or upsize my L4060, it would be very hard to buy anything less!

While visiting my brother in-law a couple of weeks ago in Morrisdale, PA he must have made 5 trips to the Dollar General store in the 2 days we were there. That was my first introduction to a Dollar General. So when you mentioned it I had to see if there is one near my home in Herndon, VA. The closed one is in Manassas, VA 13 miles away. I'm sure we will see more openings in the near future.

Dollar General, Ace Hardware and a Lowe's close by what more can you need?? Very nice new tractor, I love watching your videos especially when you get new ( toy's ) I mean needed equipment to do all the big work around the property. Just having to do the clean up after the huge wind storms is enough to see you need all that. I couldn't even imagine having to pay someone to cut up all those downed trees and digging the stumps and leveling out the ground😂 it would cost way more than the equipment does. Keep up on all the great videos and I will keep watching.

Another great video. Your Kubota partnership is a major win-win. Eva is a sharp cookie. She'll quickly discover the rhythm of college. The trick is to do as much as possible early in the semester and to capitalize on unexpected "free time" (class cancellations, study or project group time changes etc)...Both of these strategies allow for extra study time and focus at midterms and finals.

The one thing to consider in using the auto throttle over just having the revolutions running continuously over 2200 RPMs is that the tractor is idling more. So it will require more regenerations. It seems that when a tractors engine is working hard regens are fewer. That small a tractor with as much power really won’t have to work hard do do most things.

I bought a 3310 before I knew they were coming out with the 20 series. It's still a great machine, but yeah, wish I'd waited! That quieter transmission alone would've been worth it. It hasn't bothered me too much yet, but it is a bit irritating.

Mike. I've had the L6060 Grand for over ten years now and it does just about everything I could need across my acres of land. Like you, I have my main house and shop building with loads of expansive landscape, trails and project areas beyond. The only other thing I needed was a strong BX for the grass cutting with a rotary broom to clean my road and a rake to clean up after the winter has gone. The multitude of attachments I have for the L60 do it all. Get yourself a large snow bucket. I use the 72" for the majority of my snow removal and It's better than having a snowplow on a truck in my opinion. And we do not yet have a Dollar General in our town but we are getting a new Costco in a few months so I'm excited about that...

Glad you got to have lunch and check up on Eva and that she's doing well at school. Enjoy the rain and send some down to Deep East Texas , we desperately need some rain to stop the fires and cool things down around here. Still getting above 100 degree days , maybe next week we will get a couple days under the hundred mark? Stay safe and keep up the great videos and the fun you have. Fred. I'm pretty sure that all the tractors made they all have changed to higher horsepower and still a smaller size tractor. I have an LS 3033 H and it doesn't have the emissions like others. Mine they don't make anymore but i can still buy parts for it through a dealer and online. It was funny when I was looking to buy a new tractor. I went to John Deere and I asked some questions and the salesman walked away. Went to Kubota and I guess he thought i wasn't good enough or whatever so they lost a sale. The LS dealer was very pleasant and I told him i had never heard of LS. We became very good friends over the years but we moved away. This tractor i have has quite a few options that others don't.

The new features look awesome but I'll keep my non-emmision L3800 Kubota all day long. Same HP but can fix everything myself. Fyi you can buy the L2601 (26hp) model and pull the shims out of the fuel pump to increase to 33hp. Kubota retarded the timing to get that model under the emissions threshold but is the same motor as the 33hp

My BX2680 is around 350-400lbs max lift capacity, and even then its not very stable. It fits through the door of my shop, that's why I have such a small tractor. That and I only have an acre of land, so I don't need much...just needed a loader for moving stuff around on the property....a grapple would be nice but they don't make one light enough for the BX to be of any use it seems. I got the pallet forks for a compact tractor so that really reduced my lift capacity, can't get a hold of any that are lighter weight, even a shorter set of pallet forks would help but they want as much for those as they do the whole pallet fork kit.

That’s a great sized tractor. I have an L6060 and I find it too big for some of the job sites I use it on. I end up using my Mahindra 3616hst which would be similar in size to the lx4020 but it doesn’t have a cab. I sure like having a cab haha. Having 30 pto horsepower in a small frame size is really valuable. I utilize that extra horsepower on my Mahindra far more than I would have expected when I first bought it. Not a big deal if all you do is loader work but why have a tractor then! If we have a good snow year this winter I will be looking at adding a lx4020 to my fleet!

I think the Morgans raised fine children, and Morgan is very much like my own daughter. She's a hard worker, organized and likes to be prepared as much as she can for life. Nice LX4020 too

That's a really nice tractor and I like the auto/throttle even thow I'm not a fan of an accelerator pedal, we finish mow around 13 acres and I keep my throttle set at a certain RPM to run the PTO, I couldnt hold my foot down that long, lololo!. But I love these new Hydrostatic tractors because you use to have to keep the engines running 3/4 to full throttle to not starve the pumps, but obviously new engineering and the automatic throttle will keep pumps happy at any speed!, I think that's fantastic!, supply and demand in one pedal!. The cab is like riding in a Cadillac!, definitely a tractor I would buy!.

Was looking at the newsletter, must say congratulations to the Merkleys and you on the new arrival. Haven't heard much lately from "Thai-d up with the Morgans" are they still doing videos? Melissa when do you get something, just for you, new? I know you got the new phew, phew. Congratulations to Eva on her new chapter. Stay safe.

Nice tractor guys. On my tractor they call auto throttle "linked pedal". It is a mechanical link. Not sure if yours is electronic.

Nice tractor Mike - glad everything's working out well for you guys! Not sure I care for cars (or tractors) doing things 'automatically' like braking or throttling up though - pretty much want them to do _exactly_ what I tell them to - no more and no less. But, who knows, maybe it's not as bad as I think. Hope it works out well!

I thought this dollar general in our rural community would be empty half the day. It has been in business here almost 4 years now. Constantly, they have customers all day! Yes! Handy as shirt pocket for us in the area! Supply approximately 1000 residents within a 10 mile radius.

Mike I just started using a 1995 Kubota 5400 at work with a cab that has heat and air. It has 1100 hrs. It looks a little rough but runs like a top and loads of power.

That's a beauty! I've used a b3030 which is similar to your old Kubota and I agree that going to the 40hp range was a good move. I run a kioti nx45410 now, which I really like. The Kiotis have a little kubota in them as they used to make transmissions for Kubota.
