Thank you 😊 GBR is awesome. Got another video coming up soon on it. Hope to get back up for more filming as awesome there.
An absolutely beautiful and fun video! And I have come to expect nothing less from you two. You never disappoint.... ❤️ I have noticed Mark's propensity for the term, "as well", as well. But Holly, you sneak it in on occasion, as well... Eagerly awaiting your next video... as well.... Dive safe.

@Blue Horizon Diving I love the videos you two put out, even if you continue to say, "as well". Only a small amount of good-natured ribbing. Keep up the wonderful videos, with the two of you being yourselves. 🥰

Thanks!! I’ve missed the channel! It’s totally worth it, Norman Reef had the best visibility of all the dives we did but green island had some great wild life (I won’t spoil the next video yet)

So so worth it and apparently Lady Elliot is the best diving in GBR. Hoping to get there soon to check it out.
You guys must be minted. You have a proffension outside of diving or both dive professionals? Must be nice to be able to decide to fly half way across the world because the weather looks a bit sh#t 🤣. Very jealous. Keep up the great content though enjoying your twos vlogs 😁

We wish we were minted 😆 Yeah we are both full time dive instructors and on dive instructor pay. Don't worry we weren't flying around world because of bad weather as we live in Sunshine Coast in Australia. The flight was only 2 hours to Cairns. 😆 Mark was finishing working in Saint Lucia for Kids Sea Camp and then moved to Australia 🇦🇺. Thank you for supoorting our channel 😀
You guys have a great channel!! I subscribe! Greettings from Edinburgh 😊

Welcome and thank you 😊
I was just thinking the video quality was very good and that I hadnt seen any bulky lights as you mentioned the GoPro 11. Looks like a great trip, airbnb has opened a lot of options for travel. That looked like a really nice appt.

It is a beautiful spot for sure. Yeah, no lights or filters used on these dives using the GoPro 11. Very true, AirBnB makes it so much easier and cheaper.
You guys are crazy - as well!

Pretty much 😂
Brilliant video! Did you guys see any sharks over there? Was that a deco stop being made from the aluminum bar off the swim platform? Don't worry about saying, as well. It's all part of the charm. Decades ago I had a teenage cousin visit us in NY from across the pond. I ended up giving him the nickname, "as well" I would ask, "where's aswell?"

Hey mate, When we went to Green Island, next video coming up, the day after we had loads of sharks which was awesome. They are all doing the Disciver Scuba Diving experience. So if have long hang bar you can take them in ocean for confined skills section before actual dive. Hahaha yeah it just habit but it the charm 😆
Welcome to Australia, Plenty of places to dive around Brisbane locally. Lady Elliot Island, Lady Musgrave Is and /or Heron Island. I am partial to Lady Elliot for the best diving on the GBR. If you ever get down to the gold coast, the gold coast seaway is a reasonable good dive. You guy's should of looked me up. Enjoy our reef's Cheers Brad

Man, one of you guys probably even served maybe. How crazy is that. Anyway gotta get back to work. Cheers

@@bradwelch7425 I'm new to diving and will be spending a week on the Ocen Quest in late March. What size suit do i need, I use a 7 MM here in the States?
@bradwelch7425
Жыл бұрын
@@bigchrysthomas321 Gday there Chrys, I am guessing you mean Ocean Quest in Cairns. I would sway towards a 5mm or 3mm. Depending on how your body can handle temperatures. I dive all year round here on the Gold Coast and use a 3mm suit (Shorty) March is still pretty much our summer and just heading into Autumn but you will be in the tropics. Hope this will help and happy diving and be safe. Cheers Brad
Clever intro, I liked it! Holly - where'd you get the whale shark rashy? I'm pretty sure Beth would love to see one under the tree come this December.

Thank you! It’s part of the Ocean Ramsey Xcel collection, comes in full wetsuit form as well, they have all sorts of patterns of different sharks, but obviously Whale shark is the right choice 😆

If you shoot with a GoPro red filter for blue water or magenta filter for green water it will color correct all.

amazing video, nice colors and marine life... which camera did you use for shooting underwater videos?

@@BlueHorizonDiving wow the GoPro 11 footage is great that extra big sensor that they put in those cameras really does make the underwater footage look a lot more clear and I appealing I need to start using mine

How do you avoid getting bitten by sharks
@BlueHorizonDiving
Жыл бұрын
Sharks do not bother with you underwater. Hollywood has given them a bad name. You are more likely to be killed by a cow than a shark
