We Get SANDTHRAX During Trail Hero 2023

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

We get Sandthrax during Trail Hero 2023. Sandthrax is a trail Randy Slawson owner of Bomber Fabrication took us to. we had a mixed group of rear steer buggies, drag axle buggies and even a truggy. we worked overtime to get through this trail. We also checked out the trail breaker 2023 and went on our
last night wheeling run of the event, Randomly finding a friend rolled over showing up just in time to recover him with his own product. then making some bad choices by sending it through some crazy rock crawler lines by the chute off of double Sami. The following morning we went on the last trail run of the event with the wheeling wine and whiskey crew so they could show us the iconic obstacle on the maze trail called the soup bowl. we were able to find it. I stick myself under a buggy in a hard place being bale to get his 4x4 to work again. then give the soup bowl a try for myself.

    New buggies can be really frustrating to get to know. not to mention wheeling with a bunch of guys who know their rigs so well. He knew when to keep with it and when to call it. Grade A wheeling from him on this video.

    It is not as fast or as pretty sometimes. But its rad to see how crazy you can get at a crawl. and if you can do it at a crawl that means you have much more left in the tank for bigger obstacles.

    Fun trail for sure, on the weird spot we front dig up the wedge, then select 4 really quick. On the big wall, we were there in April and it was cold and wet, that wall kicked our butts. We recently went back and it was much easier when the rock was warm, and were able to crawl it. The last obstacle can really give drag axles a real challenge!

  • @WRECKEDGEAR

    @WRECKEDGEAR

    Front dig on that crack for sure. I don't remember if I did that or just let the 40 splines eat. but there are a lot of undercuts out there and in az where the ol' front dig, then bump her into 4 before it slips off comes in handy!. I got laughed at for trying to crawl that wall so slowly. But I always lean on the side of caution on trails I haven't been on before. I didn't know if there was something past the top that could have put me in a spot. If i would have known better I would have crawled it at double the speed. everyone else launched up it behind be like it was nothin lol. Trail was cool and had a different vib to is. stoked I had the chance to do it. Thought it was cool you guys hit it after trail hero!. your mini series was fun to watch! Keep up the rad content!. We will be back out there for thanks giving.

    dude, we love your channel. We live in Kentucky, so we have a different kind of wheeling. I have learned a lot about wheeling the rocks from you. Example, kick out your rear when going down a steep rock ledge as to lengthen your wheelbase. I do that here now and it works amazing. Keep up the cool vids dude. MARRY THAT WOMAN!!!!
