I’ve been looking for some ideas for my 2023 Limited. Got it with 6 miles on it in August of last year. About to hit 9k miles on it and still haven’t found any decent options that doesn’t involve swapping out the whole front end.

Or instead of doing all that work to remove the front and rear valances, you can do like I did, and just use some painters tape. Be patient do a nice job of taping off all the edges and apply a couple coats of Krylon or some other good adhesive paint. Mine still look great after two years and it only cost me 20 bucks.🫤

It would have been nice to show how you took the bumper off it that's a better way to accomplish the grill change.

It's not necessary to remove the bumper. The grille and the valance are both doable with the bumper on. Taking the bumper off is pretty simple. Here is one of our videos where we explain how to remove the bumper kzread.info/dash/bejne/hXakscSppryoqqw.htmlsi=WdvvjIzme938DVe3&t=142

What license plate holder is that on the front grill?

The grille will fit but you will have to cut slits for the valances to be installed because the sr5 doesn't come with valances.

Did those Toyota letters come with the black grille?

when you tap into the DRLs wire will the raptor lights only light up when the switch is in the DRL position? or will they also light up at night when i have my headlights on?

If you hook the raptor lights up to the marker lights on the 4runner, the raptor lights will be on in DRL position and headlights on position.

wish you'd do a 4runner bumper uninstall video. there are others on youtube, but not with your videography and instruction quality. particularly hard to find a video with the cruise control disconnect on 2020+ models.

Looks like you guys refined the grill more, the fit and finish looks a lot better than previous grills and the screws look longer for more thread engagement for the letters. Sadly I had to remove it and ended getting an oem one due to fitment and made a gap on the upper grill. Keep up the good work of refining parts for better fit and finish.

@@yotaxpedition I know, I had an issue with the upper grill and you guys sent out a replacement for that. Did not want to keep bugging if the fitment was going to be the same overall. If the fitment was like the oem one I’d still be rocking it, I like the black letters look way more than the silver.

That's what happens with aftermarket stuff, it never fits/performs correctly. The oem is outrageously priced though. $700 for 2 pieces of plastic? Gtfoh.

I'm assuming you're talking about where it clips under the headlight and on the fender? I've never had the issue you are explaining.
