We Found Tropical Aquarium Fish in a Freezing River in Europe
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
Join us on an immersive journey into the heart of an extraordinary creek nestled in the Austrian Alps. Discover the secret lives of exotic fish species, native inhabitants, and lush aquatic flora thriving in the warm waters of this unique ecosystem.
Despite the freezing temperatures of the Austrian winter, this creek remains warm enough for diverse aquatic life year-round. Fish like Yellow Lab Cichlid, Jewel Cichlid, Convict Cichlid and more.
While marvelling at the biodiversity, we also emphasize the importance of responsible pet ownership and environmental stewardship. Releasing pet fish into the wild can harm native species and ecosystems.
Special thanks to mpb.com for sponsoring this video and providing the camera needed to capture the beauty of this Alpine creek. Check out mpb.com for a wide selection of high-quality used camera gear⬇️

@@jimjiminy5836 No, I don’t think it is. Considering this is a few people with limited resources compared to the BBC, the quality of the filmmaking is outstanding. The content is interesting and to the point, unlike the BBC which goes for more narrative driven documentaries which seems fake. How do you feel the BBC is making better documentaries?

Keep her voice for narration and appear on camera explaining things yourself. Best of both worlds.
Stay with her voice. It adds a documentary flavor to these videos. And she has a soothing tone which makes these very calming and relaxing to watch. And great camera work sir.

I fully agree. It's on par with high- budget documentaries if you ask me. Great shots, great camera work, excellent narration, and the perfect voice to transport the content. Well done!
Better than BBC. Love her voice, and your camerawork! Match made in heaven.
Her voice was very wonderful. Stay with your friends.
That perch at 6:46 😂 had such a “I’m so excited to be an extra in this movie and I’m trying really hard not to look right at the camera” vibe

Thx for not explictely naming the creek in the Video. Otherwise PEOPLE would overrun it and maybe destroy or damage this Place I live nearby. Very good documentary
Okay, this is an amazing little documentary. I had no idea a tiny tropical reef existed in Europe. Kinda reminds me of the parrots that have set up little communities in a few major German cities, but this stream has all sorts of species from the tropics. Keep up the amazing work, your camera work, editing, and even the narration were all done incredibly well. I'm shocked you only have 8k subs, you'll probably take off soon, but for now you got one more subscriber at least.

@tylerharry6319

@@risilvaHonestly with how good this doc came out, you should try your hand at filming other types of wild life. I think people have a fascination with animals setting up communities so far from their natural habitats, kinda reminds us of ourselves. Though at the end of the day, film what interests _you_ , because if you're excited about whatever you're filming it'll translate into a much better final product than filming something you find boring / not very interesting. Whatever you choose for your next project, I'll be sure to check it out. Best of luck mate!
Great video, made even better by her beautiful narration. Please keep her.

As a former aquarium keeper, if your not going to keep it in a tank dont buy it and release in the wild. Your creating more issues. Local fish are there for a reason. If i kicked you out of your house how would you feel? Awesome videography and voice over though!

About crucian carp - it is definitely non-native. The fish shown is not Carassius carassius, but Carassius gibelio, so just non-colour goldfish... very interesing creek I would love to have one near my place to get free aquarium fish :D

Wow, thank you! More to come this year!
I grew up there and still live here. It's literally like that for decades. The city tried to fish all the exotic breeds several times but they never managed to get out all of them + locals keep bringing in new fishes. It's also true that there is very limited harm to the local eco system. The creek further down is already cooler and it leads to a much faster river (Gail) which is freezing cold even im summer. OC it's a bad idea to set out your tropical fishes in a local creek like that, but I have to admit it played out rather good. We also have a lake nearby where locals set out their water turtels and there was a significant population for years.
Awesome video, well done! Great info, great story, great voice 😊, great job! Thank you for bringing us this.

Excellent video, and the voiceover is perfect. "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", as they say:-)
Her voice adds to the professional video.
Wouaw ! 😊😍🐠

Subscribed! Top notch Direction, Editor, Script, Score, FX & Narration. A pleasure to watch. Her voice is perfect, it's easily broadcast standard. The only criticism I have is that the script is only 98% there. There are a couple of minor moments, when it's apparent that English is your second language. Perhaps if you gain a budget, you might consider looking at that. Great work.
