It's how big it is or if it has the aphmau tag on it like it doesn't matter as long it's really good quality

My granddaughter got a cherry cupcake one as a present from her dad's friend. She brought it to school and came home and said she let a boy on the bus have it but his birthday was coming up and he was supposed to get one and would give her cat back. We showed up to the birthday and went in the house. My granddaughter asked him for it back. He said "you gave that to me and I don't know where it is". She said lets look for it opened the closet and exclaimed here it is. When she picked it up it had been all tore up by one of the kids dogs. The two cherries and tail were missing, one ear was chewed off. Now I am debating on trying to fix it or buy her a new one. I just don't want her to think that I will just buy her something when she is irresponsible with her things. She is not allowed to bring any toys to school anymore.
