That's a sick trip buddy. Hopefully I'll have something like that this year. Our ponds and lakes in Iowa just lost their ice last weekend so spawning season is coming up soon!

I’ll be trying around spirit and Okoboji in the next week or two. I’d like to find some reservoir based lakes too but I haven’t heard of too many other than brushy creek.

@Mission For Fishing Okobojee, Spirit Lake, and Storm Lake are all on my bucket list to fish. I only live like 1.5 hours away from them, so kinda wondering why I haven't tried them yet.

Where do you guys like to go? I live in Sioux City Iowa and haven’t found a lot of great bass lakes nearby but I’m open to traveling the state and farther, I just got a 12FT and I’ll be getting a 14 on Monday to build a casting deck into , where should I go guys?

That was a spot not a largemouth it appeared.
