rather use the funds made from the game to fund the movie. if they give the rights to some idiots, like those making the halo series, or like what netflix did to the witcher... amazon with LotR... these people understand nothing of what makes these games worth the time

I was waiting an entire week for this upload, so I feel the same. 2 hours and 35 minutes of Fooster, is like taking my aching heart, and making it feel better again. Unlike many cheap garbage indie games out there, Pacific Drive hast more in common with a triple a game, and in some ways, is even better then some actual triple a games as well. I love watching Fooster play creepy survival games and creepy horror games.

I have to say, I simply love how whenever Fooster is in a cave or echo chamber, he adds that to his voice recording. Adds a layer of depth to his videos that I don't see in many other KZreadrs.

Yeah, the moment Fooster said 626, my brian supplied "Ohana meand family, and family means nobody gets left behind, or forgotten." Also, Moss Piglets (Tardigrades) can survive the vacuum of space, unprotected, for like, 10 days or something. I want to be a Moss Piglet in my next life.

Heck yes!! I’m so excited to see you finish this game because of how much you’ve mentioned wanting a survival game involving something like a car or horse you need to tend to. Besides this being an absolutely beautiful game, the characters hit you right in the heart and I also think you’re right about Oppy (but no spoilers). (A pulled back is the worst thing ever. Threw out my back nearly ten years ago and I keep getting punished by it. Get better soon my guy.)

honestly, ending is mediocre

34:00 - 34:30 listen to how Fooster's voice echos slightly when he's in the tunnel and then it goes away when he gets in the car. These are the kinds of editing details that sets this fine man apart from all the others. @Fooster Your incredible effort to immerse us does not go unnoticed good sir!

Also thought Oppy sounded pretty similar to Maida from Subnautica. Turns out they are portrayed by different actresses though (at least according to IMDb). Marguerit is evidently played by Lorelei King and Oppy by Tara Langella.

btw, your jump cut off Francis from admitting he fumbled some numbers trying to get funding while doing research in the zone, that's why he's being strangely quiet. (d20 is just shorthand for "20 sided dice")

Fooster, Pacific Drive is the game that I have been most interested in watching you play. I didn't much care for the last two games you played on your channel, but Pacific Drive just has so much to it. Its not one of those cheaply put together by high schooler 5 nights at freddies style games that literally have no substance to them. This game just has so much more substance to it, its loaded in story, Twilight Zone style activities, spooky horror aspects, and a fairly complex system in the garage to manage everything. This might be an indie title, but it shares aspects to a triple a game. It was such a pleasure getting to watch you play this game!

In all of my years of gaming, I have never cried in a video game ever before, but the whole thing with Tobias.... I'm just glad I watched you play this part of the gave to prepare me.

Every time you replace something on the car I think "Wait, what if the Remnant is actually just your wing mirror, or a screw somewhere or a tiny bit of rubber on the door?!" SPOILERS: I thought there was far more to learn than what was revealed in the end. I wanted to know WHERE Oppy and Francis were- sometimes I questioned whether they were actually corporeal or not, find out more about the origin of the zone, were the crash test dummies people that died in the zone? The instability trying to make/remake people but crudely like a child learning (as it was described early on) and not capable of making them properly. Seems a great game but I found the ending a bit lacklustre in terms of the story.

35:27 play at .25x speed I can't tell if that guy wanted to say hello on the left😨 It's almost like they are reaching for/warping toward his car.

When I proposed she responded "I will ride shotgun with you anywhere you drive" and then I deployed a week later... And depression and anxiety took her 4 months in. That last line triggered memory to hear her voice again after 15 yes, and I didn't even realize that I was crying like a baby until I couldn't see. I thought I had lost the memory after suffering a TBI. I have missed her voice so much, for so long, thank you for the unexpected birthday present I prayed for every year since. Really thank you so much.

2:16:20 had me cackling. Not Fooster out here giving off Enemies to Lovers vibes "I've hated you, I've wished I never met you... but now I love everything about you and we're gonna do this together!" Never failing us with brilliantly hysterical lines, Fooster!!!

loved every second of this playthrough, and with your enthusiasm for this game it became even better ... the scene where u had to connect the power and in the background you hear Tobbyas sacrificing himself ...man that got me real bad ... i dont know why i felt so panicky and heartbroken after ... i guess i did not really think they were still alive idk why, i thought they were just recordings or something ... on a more positive note i love the idea that the driver stays behind and helps Francis, its also a good ending to start of Pacific Drive 2 is it not ... very creative game, amazing voice acting and gripping atmosphere ... love the car, tho i wished it showed a little bit more sentiency to add on more flavor to the whole "person gets addicted to to the remnant" spiel

They have GOT to continue the storyline with a 2nd game. Such a beautiful storyline!

He does nice little touches like that. Like if we're in an empty space, he'll add some echo. When we're under water, he'll muffle his voice. It's a very nice, immersive little touch.

Love the echo effect at 33:40 when you get out of the car in the tunnel!

I've had a blast playing this game. The panic that sets in when the siren goes is real. I had a run in the swamp last night that made me sweat. I was lucky to have half a car by the time I got to the shop.😂

This game is awesome. This is the ultimate game for science fiction car fans. I love foosters videos, he sounds like a baseball announcer and keeps me engaged. That and having this passively play in the background is positive energy. Thanks Fooster!

Put all the oysters in the matter deconstructor!!!! They give you a lot of goood things!!

TINKER STATION boy, you need it to resolve some errors & malfunctions. For example, your car keeps giving a horn at closing the trunk. Input it there, in 'what' & 'when' columns & it should be able to resolve it. It'll also show you how many errors you have in total, but you have to discover them on your own

Thats type of are wonderful. Like i keep the quirk where my dash turns on faster when i am low on fuel or how my wipers run faster when my lights stay on

The best game i have ever seen. The best narrator i have ever seen. This whole story hit me hard emotionally, it really felt like i was watching a movie at the end of which i just stare blankly at the wall and think wow...just wow.

Wwoooooooo its back, soooooo happy to gind this as im just getting into bed. Probably have to watch in to halves. Before sleep and after 😅. This game is really cool. I know there so many survival games and there lots with cool stories and aspects. But i live the car in this, like its alive and you have to look after it. Its a part of the whole game play not just your transport to discovery and a way out. Or not depending on your end choice. Then its your forever friend 😊❤.

Another great one! I like the fact that you really tried to take care of the car. Most of the other people I've watched are constantly running into things, especially trees, and don't have enough supplies for repairs. Keeping the car in good shape definitely helps complete the missions.

YES! I really can't get enough of Fooster. My all time favorite KZreadr. Hands down.

The vacuum you found in the first episode is very useful for collecting things out on the road. Also there is a repair guide built into the game to help you diagnose issues with the car and fix them. According to the deves they have added little things like a light that will turn on when you close your hood or for instance your gauges move when your whipers are on.

I think remnant is symbolic of remanence. or past events and that the zone holds memories and events and stores them in an object once the object has been put in the well the memories can be released but the holder of the said remanent becomes the next trapped until their burdens are confronted etc. so now the drivers' experiences are recorded in the zone so whoever comes after him will be trapped until the previous drivers burdens are released or something along those lines

The Voice actress for Margurite is called Lorelei King She had minor roles in Johnathan Creek and also played Mother in Alien Covenant Oppie is voiced by Tara Langella so its not her ...but they do sound similar (although she also sounds like Kathryn Janeway from Star Trek Voyager a bit) Hell one of the other two (Francis or Tobias) sounds like Steve Buscemi 😂

Oh I LOVE her. She reads a book series audiobook. One book had a different actor and I just couldn't listen to it, read the book instead, JUST because it wasn't Miss King reading it. She is so talented.

Hello Fooster. Long time watcher of your gaming videos. I have a tip for you. Next time you are near the "Crash Test" dummies, throw a fully charged FLARE at them. The dummies will blow up and you can recover resources from them including a "RED" element.

I assumed the maniquins are perhaps those that never made it out of the zone!😱 And yes about the voice acting!

Fooster, you can grind up the bunnies using a scrapper (although I think you know that ???). I've done it and have gotten electronics sometimes from them. I bought this game based on your first video and am SO glad I did. I LOVE IT!!! Oh, you can stop the zone from closing in on you in the settings. But you tend to like things crazy so I doubt you turn it off, LOL. 😉 Also, if anyone is low on plastic and electronics, by the garage, next to the abandoned vehicle there is a computer and radio. They respawn all the time. Don't forget to scrap phones too. I have found them all over the zone and scrapped one totally by accident and viola!

I think this is one of the best games I have watched you play so far. I can't wait to see more of this, hopefully😅
