We Found the Best Way to Make Low Carb Chips!

Fathead dough we used: www.ketofocus.com/recipes/ket...
We halved the recipe and then only ended up cooking half the dough because it made a lot of chips! We estimate that the batch of chips we made had about 4 net carbs per serving.

Nose buds 😆 love it! I love fat head dough. Good job girls, love the honesty about lacking the refined pallet. A lot of your followers (I’m guessing) also have the same because we can’t afford and have seldom been exposed to fancy food & ingredients. That’s what makes your channels stand out to me. I can relate to your content and your point of views.

You can practice expanding your palate by adding bitter foods to your diet, like ginger, lemon, radicchio, turmeric and cocoa nibs. Mindy Pelz has some really effective tips on training your palate to enjoy non hyper palatable foods, so that healthy foods actually taste good, because they’re supposed to. And up until the food industry used food science to profit, we could eat these foods without any thought, or fear. Good news is they’re around under $1.00 a pound, and pack enough flavor that you don’t need tons of either one.

I used the handheld mandolin to slice my frozen dough, & then I only had to gently roll it for a second to thin it down. It worked great! & I added a sprinkle of salt, with a heavy sprinkle of Italian seasonings to my mixture. = Was Fabulous as the fried chips, & also my pizza crust!! 🍕 😋

You should really fry these in pork lard. I am interested in using the recipe to make corn chips. I think the one on one flavors has a corn flavor. These look enough chip like for me. You could also use a tortilla press to make these in a circle really thin and then use a pizza cutter to cut them into chips. Ooh, I think I might just do that.

You could cut out the freezing and slicing steps by just rolling the flat head dough and cutting them, then if they don't want so come off the paper you could put them in the free,at for a minute. Also, if you like vinegar, there is a salt and vinegar popcorn seasoning that I use on French fries.

Having no thyroid has been a depleting factor in my energy, mental health, metabolic health etc. This is definitely a recipe I’m going to try, you both care so much for the keto community out here, I think you’re both absolutely FABULOUS 😉🌟🫶🏼
