We Found Over a THOUSAND Shark Teeth on Topsail Beach! - Fossil Hunting
We found over a thousand shark teeth while fossil hunting on Topsail Beach, North Carolina during our vacation in April 2021! We didn't find anything that compares to the big tooth I found last trip and it was a challenge, but together we were able to find over 1000 fossilized shark teeth as well as several other types of fossils during our week long vacation.

If you're into shark teeth hunting, where do you like to go? High or Low tide?

it just depends on where the best shell beds are, but definitely an out going tide.

Just came back from topsail.. we went at low tide to get those concentrated areas of "stuff" in the wash

I know this is an old comment but when I went to topsail I would go out at low tide and find a bunch and also when the tide was coming back in you could find a bunch. When the waves started hitting the shell beds the teeth would start popping out everywhere. I found a great white that was probably one and a half inches long.

I love finding shark teeth on north topsail island. I have many from there.
Topsail all the way. 3:16 top left was a nice one

Best place to go on topsail for finding teeth? My son is obsessed with shark teeth right now and I'm taking him tomorrow to hunt!!! Any pointers would be amazingly appreciated!!

@@TheSimpleHick man I've only found two decent ones here on Topsail. Would the inlet near serenity point possibly be any more fruitful? I used to find them all the time on onslow, big ones, but that was years ago and I've lost my talent. I really want to pull through for my kids lol.
