cant wait for an update from Andy on his channel. The quality was top notch but haven't seen any updates from him in a bit.
Thanks for sharing your visit with Andy's claim. 👍👍
Good looking gold. I have enjoyed this side story. I hope Andy was able to pull out enough to make the project worth while.
Andy has a great smile. He seems genuinely kind and a pleasure to be around. 👍😉😊

He reminds me of a certain character on The Red Green Show, in the best possible way. Great Canadian accent, not afraid to get dirty, and always positive!
god you guys are so freakin canadian. i am too and its just a joy to watch you two interact lol. theres just something so distinctly canadian about both yall personalities
Very well presented mine visit Dan! Nice to see the warm sunny weather with all that green! I can almost smell the fresh air just thinking about it. Glad to see the operation is ticking along in the background as we patiently wait for more videos to pop out on Andy's channel 😀
Always good to see Andy's operation producing gold!!

And he has worked hard for this!👍
Good to see you and Andy together again.
Oh, that top part has it's own suspension system?? That's pretty neat, you don't really have to worry about the large rocks breaking stuff (as much...I'm sure there's still possibility of welds breaking or something)
Andy is awesome! Material looks mostly "light" but because of the big boulders I think if you follow it down to bedrock or clay will produce better results. Lack of clay is a flag that you need to go deeper. Im sure you will hit a pay layer!
Nice setup, I can only dream to have that. Will add Andy channel to my list. Thanks.
I flew out there on the 4th and got stuck on the Alberni side of the island for the week because of that highway fire. Had to take a small flight from Alberni to Qualicum just to escape back home to Ontario. Not that I wanted to, I love the mountains.
Awesome video love seeing the gold. Nice to see your operation running
Lets see abdy find that flake again. You know your finding your share of gold when you put some back to try and recover later. Lets say you're testing Andys skills😂 will that gold flake turn up again?? Thats the real test...we usually put those right in the vile just to not be skunked for the day.
He said "it's warming up on this thirty degree day," and my American-ass thought he meant farenheit for a hot second 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣💀
Thanks Dan and wishing Andy the best. Just praying he hits richer ground soon as that is not going to cover costs much less profit. Hard as he works he deserves that much profit per day. All it takes is a bit of luck and the next scoop could tip the balance. Got my fingers crossed and thanks for showing us what he is up to. Great guy.
Nice little operation going on Dan, I remember some vlogs with you and Andy awhile back, good to see ya prospecting again....💪🤠
Finally lots of gold. Give that show boating kid from alaska the what for❤❤❤
Happy to see Andy doing well on this new (relatively) project. The Andy Made Trommel looks to be doing a fine job ! The cleanup sluice at home was amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Good morning from Southeast South Dakota
😁👋👍👍👏👏💕🙏🏻 Nice seeing Andy again. I hope he has a great run on this claim. He seems really nice. And he is really good at operating his equipment.
Great video, Andys a cool guy! I want to grow up to be just like him! 😀
You rock Dan love your videos and all the knowledge that you freely share with us. You are a good person dan thanks for sharing all your hard work with us. Your videos are always a gem to watch.
Keep up the good work, I like your shows and spreading the knowledge out there, kelowna BC baby.

Another BC boy, Andy seems like such a good man, I like his setup and he's not tearing up the surrounding ground blindly, that is some beautiful gold there, thank you Dan for sharing this newest adventure, yer looking healthy and happy so keep it coming man! Cheers from a old guy on some island :)
Excellent collaborative vids, excellent people, and fun times! Thanks Dan
I wish Andy much success….that is a capital intensive job
Love Andys determination!
I love how you guys all network.
OMG! Thats a whole nother level of Awesome!.... 🤣🤣👍
That gold is looking nice! If I’ve learned anything from your videos, that gold is showing signs of being (relatively) close to the source!

Wow, that equipment is extraordinarily heavy and complicated, but I'm sure the results will also be extraordinary. Success is always my friend
AWESOME!
I don't know Andy's land space restrictions, but I bet his results would improve, and work time extended if he had a second settling pond, so the washplant gets cleaner water, and perhaps more water streams in the prewash as those big boulders were coming off the grizzly bars dirty. Best of luck.
Thank you Andy and another superb video Dan thanks for sharing
Nice looking gold
That was fun!
Nice Dan & Andy! Hope ya had a Great Canada DAY!! JJ

😎 its always cool see andy 😎 Im surprise how rough the gold looks
Bring it on Dan!
Another great video coming up
Dan Hurd lurking around in your work site some sort of gold goblin, are you gonna do an episode on gold prices and current inflation?
Top of the morning to you Dan! Looking forward to the video.

Andy need to have me up for the summer to film and produce his videos more often 😂
The little nugget on left side at 15:22 looks like a face side on with a big nose 😂
Ohh nice this was filmed on my birthday!🎉
Dan's videos are the real gold mine.
Great vid, as always, and great finds (not jealous 🥺). But now I ask why did you put the safety hat on the wrong way? 🤔 Tut Tut Sir! 😎🖖
Dan if possible in a future video ..Could you do a breakdown of what it costs to do a placer set-up like Andys...daily costs,permit fees,gas costs, cost of a claim? etc....
@9:22 you can see the piece of gold in the dirt
Nice!
You gotta Love that Serenity
Awesome vid! Any rock hounding rocks associated with the placer ?
Have them put Jet-Dry in the water that he's using to wash the gravel with and it'll help the dirtball out of it then he'll have clean your water to work with
I would dig all big signals I'm not as trusting as you are Andy's does well hard work pays off nice job
I love your videos and your soo funny keep up the hard work 😂
Great haul! Motivation🤙
Grats Dan :)
Good morning from Mount Vernon Washington 😀
running a metal detector over a pay pile...You are killing me. That is pure torture 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤣🤣
Will you guys leave this poor guy alone. Andy has had no time to make a video for his channel because he is such a great host.🤣🤣🥰🥰
Thank you Dan and Andy for sharing the gold prospecting adventure with me 🙏
Good morning all
Es genial amigo hermoso Oro gracias por compartir amigo saludos desde colombia 😊
Good job, thanks
One thing I noticed, a lot of the rock coming of the trommel still has a lot of dirt on it, dirt = gold, does Andy rerun the larger rock ? or maybe worth hosing down the tailings and running the dirt from that area, just a thought.

He could feed 50% slower and wash much better better and might give a 1-2% increase in gold, for the cost of 50% less material going through, meaning 50% less gold in the end, for a 1-2% gain.
Makes you wonder what the cost was to get that much

I love your channel and also Jason’s, but I still don’t get how the Australian programmed pull ounces out of the sand and mud. Please explain the geology to my dumb head.
Hey Dan, for detecting small pickers do you recommend to buy the Gold Monster or the SDC 2300 ? I am planning to buy another detector as my old Equinox800 was not good for small gold and I sold it.
And correct me if I'm wrong please but it looks like he's got those Grizzly bars mounted on Springs to act as a manual Shaker deck is that correct?

Somewhere in the neighborhood of 6 billion years ago, a mind-boggling amount of hydrogen started pulling itself together under its own gravity. A super massive star was born and lived about 100 million years. When it ran out of enough fuel to sustain the amount of fusion necessary to balance the pull of gravity, it underwent a rapid contraction wherein the outer layer of the star slammed into the center of the star at speeds approaching the speed of light. This releases a tremendous amount of energy in what's known as a super nova. There is enough energy in this explosion to continue the fusion process where the star itself left off, allowing for the creation of heavier elements than iron. It is in the process of a super nova that all of the gold in the universe is created. There is no other mechanism by which gold is created. Then, in the neighborhood of 5 billion years ago, a portion of the cloud of dust, gas, and debris from the super nova began to pull itself together under its own gravity again. This time, our sun was born. The planets scooped up all the remaining material in the orbital plane. In the process, loading our planet with all of the gold it was ever going to (naturally) have. But then it melted and fell toward the core of our planet. Which is a bummer, because we can't get there. Thankfully, volcanoes tap into the deep earth and allow for the contents from below to be brought to the surface. And that's why you see gold in quart veins today. Because a bunch of hydrogen with too much time on its hands decided to play with the laws of physics. And of course, the same can be said for you and I, not just gold.
How dear Andy the gold miner find gold 😅
The ground Andy's working with seem to have many big boulders & large chunky rocks, definitely isn't helping Andy to have to deal with material like that,will cause issues with his trommel & mining equipment im sure,shows just how much hard work go's into being a gold miner,best wishes from Sydney Australia

How we get a video from Dan about Andy’s mine before Andy post? Been waiting 2 months for an update on his channel and missed this video from Dan 🤦♂️.
how far down does the metal detectors read?
If gold is still stuck in the goat rock, would that make the detector jump back and forth between readings?
Bit the question is that $1k worth of gold enough to compensate the running of said equipment?
@Danhurd

I think he said he burns about $200 a day in fuel
He’s losing probably 20-30% on the dump into the hopper. The bigger rocks and boulders are falling right off with a lot of dirt attached to them before getting washed. He needs a bigger hopper with more spray bars.
@Danhurd

I love how internet experts can see a machine running for 3 minutes and know more than the actual expert on site who see the machine running day in and day out, tests recover, test tailings, can examine boulders, know his ground, and can adjust to suit the situation. And still he loses , what was that, 20 - 30% Even tough if the internet expert was right, the amount of material attached to the rocks would equate at most to 1-2% of the material actually going through the bars.
@RexSkittles
Жыл бұрын
@@Danhurd Andy isn’t an expert either. Haven’t you seen any of his videos?
@Danhurd
Жыл бұрын
So you are saying you can judge what is right in his situation from a video better than he can in person because you know so much more than he does?
@MohammedNovalija
Жыл бұрын
@@Danhurd Be nice - it is possible that the amount of gold stuck to those rocks is much higher than the 1 or 2 percent of dirt stuck to them , because rocks tend to attract gold for various reasons - similar reasons why we dig behind rocks in streams , but 20-30% is outlandish assumption just the same.
How much of that (?$) goes to overhead (gasoline/diesel, payments on equipment, claim fees, repairs, depreciation, etc)?
@Danhurd
Жыл бұрын
He owns the equipment outright, I think he said about $200 a day in fuel, no real claim fees. No repairs that day, little in depreciation value. So about a $800 paycheck for the day.
That’s so weird I seen it was waiting than KZread hid it
