uhhh Freddy is protecting the afton kids, well Bonnie failed to protect Emily kids, so Freddy will not fail, William didnt return because he remember everything from old series. because his harm to family, he asked Freddy to keep watch the kids. OG Michael memories is gone because sacrifice to seal the dream geist after Freddy and his friends along with William jumps through the ball pit, and the OG old universe got reset to past. Freddy will not end up like Bonnie, Bonnie is sucks anyway, he failed to protect the emily kids, also Freddy teaches the afton kids about self defense and gave them a real light saber, and also Elizabeth have a real gun and tazer, also TNT and flint and steel. also Michael is being home schooled, because not letting Michael to meet those 3 tormentors, School is having alot of bullies. so all the timeline got reset, thats Michael wants, well his wishes, so he sacrifice himself to fix everything, the OG Universe goes backwards, and change the time, and avoid death
