The wonderful thing about your videos is that each and every object in the house, the house and around the house has a memory attached to it. Whether good or bad, it's a part of a person's memory and life

That little box with dial is a personal telephone directory. One dials the first letter of the first or last name and it opens to that persons name, address and phone number.

Seems to have all the classic signs of a deceased person/s home, no family to leave it to or no will made and subsequently gets passed on to the state where it will rot until the land is acquired and the problem (everything inside) is passed onto someone else to deal with. I see it all to often, sadly. Everything will be either stolen or skipped unfortunately.

Alex that rod on upper floor from one side of room to the other is a wall stay. Designed to stop upper storey walls from bowing out. You generally don't see them in a room only on outside of building looking like a metal cross, think this one was visible because head height was need in room otherwise it would have been in ceiling.

The scariest thing this week was when a former owner came down the stairs with a lit candlestick and told you all to f off..... 'A small tumble drier for small pants.' Classic Ed.... The chap outside the window who said he was just in the area, and that he'd do your garden for £200, looked a bit familiar, but I thought it was a good offer. You should have taken him up on it. You could probably have found some rusty shears in the garage. 🙂

Another interesting, thought provoking and Ed-funny explore, thanks! Empty houses full of possessions makes me think that there were no children because the evidence suggests they weren't rich and therefore any offspring would exploit a house left to them by selling or using in some way. From the cassettes I could read and clothes, I would guess that they were born in the 50's and had some of their parents and grandparents stuff there, likely retrieved after their deaths. As to thieves who take stuff from places like that, well....my pet hate! Glad that Ed is just older than I!😃Blessings all!

Incredibly sad to think this house was potentially in the possession of atleast 3 generations, probably even built in that case by the same family. Heirlooms passed from one generation to the next with such sentiment and value. For it all to now be at the mercy of local thugs. Heartbreaking that is.

When you think about it that place in good condition could be worth a million I did a house declutter for a young Lady whose Grandmother had died ! She lived there at some time in the past when She was a young girl ! I put a glass jar on the table and She enquired what is that for ! I replied ,to put any money I find in there. She said you will not need that ! I found over £70 in coins and She was grateful ! There was tons of stuff in the house .The house you are exploring needs saving ! If I lived in the area would try and find an owner and clear it out ! (before it All gets trashed ) GREAT VIDEO !
