It's not a 1700's mansion but a relatively modern copy which has been well done. The doors are 6 foot 8, houses from 1700 had much lower door heights plus no breeze blocks in 1700's

Definitely bangs from inside when we approached the window, however we all felt pretty relaxed inside. We'll never know what the bangs were....

Wow! A true English Tudor! From US. This was an incredible explore! Holy Moly! If only I could refurbish this beyond lovely home! The details are just amazing! So very sad to know it’s likely not going to be renovated. They certainly do not build homes like this any more, anywhere! Simply stunning! This was an amazing glimpse into a bit of architectural history. Thank you so very much for sharing with all of us!

It's not a real Tudor mansion, it's what's called a mock Tudor, fairly recent.

Tudor was between 1458-1603. The table in the kitchen was modern. Definitely not old

Rogers audio were best known for their speakers (usually BBC designs) but they sold out to a Chinese buyer in the early 90s. I bought a pair of LS7 speakers in 1990. The amps tend to date from the 70s and are quite collectable. Funny how it ended up outside, and not there for all that long by the looks of it.

That is a projector for watching television on a wall years ago.

Enjoyed the explore, but the building had imperial brick your 80-81 mill solids ,so I would looking at it in the main around the 1900 period built to look oldy worldy👍

Definitely roof needs to be addressed first.👍 If you guys could maybe find out if it may be for sale I would put in the contract if it was that the owners pay for the roof to be fixed since they neglected the place!!!

just checked out the Roger’s Hi-Fi prices because I’ve never heard of them. they’re not cheap, they’re a high quality audio maker. I can only find 2 kinds of speakers from one of their high-end resellers one pair of speakers £4800, the cheaper range only £2800. All the amps, pre amps & turntables etc aren’t listed anywhere because they must be wildly expensive.

Thought at first this was the old Fox pub at Rivenhall on A12. Til I see that there isn't anything inside that could ever have seen a bar, plus the fact that your mansion is overgrown whereas the Fox isn't. But I think your place is somewhere near the A12 as it can clearly be heard in the background. Colchester maybe?

This also looks like someone is renovating it, new plasterboard upstairs. Looks like a listed property. Would cost a fortune to bring it back to life but hopefully over time it will see a new lease of life.

That Rogers amp the Rogers factory was near we're I grew up in mitcham surrey was closed down late 80s early 90s remember it well.
