You guys got me hyped for when yard sales begin in my area. Always enjoy hearing the conversations with people, just so cool hearing people talk about their love of and favorite video games. Fully agree with you Dan, when it comes to modded systems, especially when it comes to the Wii being so simple to do (least what I've heard), don't be a dick and rip people off. That story the lady said about her husband looking out for a 3DO for her and finally finding one, is super nice to hear, love hearing those stories and just moments. I feel you on the Sneaker problem, would be nice to know enough to be able to pick up to flip, but that is something out of my wheel house. Great find on the last sale, best of luck on her finding some more of those 3DO games, personally have never actually seen a game or the console in person before. Ok. You're my new favorite yard sale team. One dollar games and you left some on the table? The resellers that I normally (used to) watch would have 100% bought every one of them. I like to go to yard sales with my wife and she's not about getting up at the crack of dawn, so I've literally seen maybe 5 video games at yard sales in the last TWO years...I'm a pretty big collector and 5-10 years ago, people were giving these games away..... then it started to become the main thing every yard sale retailer looks for. When you started asking them right away if they had video games, I cringed a little..... I'm glad I watched all the way through.... collector/reseller with a heart for collecting. Who would've thought.... Subscribed!!

Cool finds. Also I sell/collect shoes. Any "mid" sneaker usually has a lower value. The high tops and lows for Jordan's are what spike up more usually. Mid's don't hold their value as much either being used. If they were new the Jordan 1 Mid Oakland, would have been decent to pick up (Black, white, green & yellow shoe). Shoe market is so weird though, and small things can just kill a shoe.

We have really great yards sales out here in southern Arizona with a lot of video games, but you have to get there at 3 am or else the people that cross over from Mexico will buy up everything.

We are often up front and honest about values and such. Generally people are cool with it and just want to get rid of stuff, especially at yard sales 😀

Sneakers is a tough market to get into, there are so many replicas out there now that look real, even getting past some of the best in the sneaker world, never know what is real or fake in the Jordan world

Digital is becoming more and more annoying. Its like cool bro buy all the digital games you want, but don't expect ridiculous expectations when you resell it. Tried buying a ps4 pro off someone, and there like its $400 with over 200 digital games on it. Offered $200, but then they bring up the games on it and act like I'm crazy.

Yeah, there is literally zero resale value in digital in my opinion. I wish more people understood that and kept releasing physical games!

The only Jordan 1s worth grabbing which is what you picked up are the Jordan 1 "highs". Which are easy to identify by the Nike Air tag at the top of the tongue. Jordan 1 mid tops and lows will have a jump man tag there.

Nope, we stayed out of the series X/PS5 resell game completely. We were fortunate to get ours near release day

I feel like even if he overpaid that’s on him and not the seller. He bought it for that, no one forced him too. And then here y’all are going around and underpaying people for their video games at yard sales so not much of a difference between y’all and the guy who sold the Wii for $250…
