You've got to try "Krautinger" from Austria. It is basically destilled cabbage juice with 40%-Vol. Smells like stinky feet but tastes quite good. And "Korn" is usually not meant for drinking but more like a base for fruit liqueur etc.

Actually a great choice for a Serbian drink. Rakija is actually very versatile and in my opinion it's the best hard liquor, by far. The thing is, it really varies from even household to household. I once drank apple rakija that straight up had the taste like taking a bite of a Granny Smith apple with some slight burn to it. Amazing stuff.

Now that you mention it, there could and should be a festival where bars from different countries can set up their own tents and make a pub/bar in their own style. Complete with different menus and unique drinks.

My younger cousin (who's not of drinking age) poured herself a drink of water at my grandparents' 50th anniversary celebration party, it was Ouzo. I took it off her hands as a joke, don't remember that night. My mom said I needed fluids from an ambulance, and I pissed on the wall when I got back home. I woke up more hungover than I've ever been and I still remember nothing about that night

fun fact: A lot of estonian words sound finnish to the point where speakers of the two languages can speak (with a bit of difficulty) without knowing the other language. Embarrassing, first riding off another Finnish channel's name and then trying to cozy up to actual tubers, you are not Cold Ones.

I love when Scott is steering the show. It just hits right.

I'm always surprised at how far Buckfast travels. I grew up in an area that is known as part of the so called "Buckfast triangle" because so many crimes in the area had Buckfast mentioned in the incident reports. You're supposed to freeze the crap out it if you really want the best experience. Mind you the best experience means being absolutely hammered and either fighting the nearest person or passing out in a field some where. 😂 Max looked like he was about to collapse into a heap on the floor by the end of this.

As a Turkish dude, you should try Raki mixed with cold water and ice. We usually prepare a good dinner table (best with fish) with appetizers. You drink one sip of Raki then one sip from water. but you guys just shout it anyways.

Korn is basically just a way to get hammered cheap, mostly used in the more rural regions in germany. Popular mixers are Fanta and Coke, almost never drunken neat. "Schnapps" is just a name for high proof alcohol so you could have a pear-schnapps or a butterscotch schnapps, but you could say jägermeister is schnapps if you want to.

If you ever want to give South African drinks a go, there's 2 recommendations. Whilst beer is our most consumed drink, Brandy is a close second and we produce a ton of it so try Klipdrift then. Otherwise a very South African drink is Amarula, a cream liquor made from the Marula fruits.

Just had my first grog lads and I must say well bloody done! Not too sweet like most other premixes and flavor choices are great for summer! I could go them even less sweet but honestly pretty darn good, will be on the regular purchase list.

Raki is actually never ment to be consumed by itself, It's consumed with water 1 to 1 ratio +ice, also if you really want to enjoy raki as Turkish people do it should be definitely be consumed with bunch of side dishes or watermelon, I'm surprised to see it tho made me very happy greetings from actual capital of Turkiye (T), cheers guys

Raki also changes color when introduced to water/ice just like ouzo does. And the most popular way to drink it is by mixing it with water + ice. You should try, it tastes way better like that

Pastis is actually very popular in the South of France (especially in Marseille) but not that much elsewhere. Also you have to mix it with water otherwise it's disgusting

15:35 it's called louching and it happens because the solubility of the mixture is reduced. There are a bunch of oils dissolved in ethanol, when you proof it down or cool the mixture it drops some of the oil out of solution but the ethanol acts as an emulsifier and keeps it mixed with the water.

I always thought mixing regular Liqour with water was gross and something only old people and couscous do. I got home from work so tired the other night it took me almost an hour to realize I missed my vodka with water instead of sprite
