Guys, try to visit Metro Manila before heading to other countries. Stay there for at least 2 to 4 days so that your channel will grow to at least 10 to 15K. New foreign vloggers are getting 1 to 1.5K subs daily whenever they vlog in the capital. Just watch other foreign vloggers like Shev and Dev so that you have an idea where to go/ vlog. They came here in the Philippines with less 20K subs and grew to almost 100K in less than 3 months.Your Siquijor series is my favourite and i think your channel is underrated. Goodluck guys.

Thank you so much that means a lot! Very kind of you to say. I think maybe we should explain that we’re not here in the Philippines just to grow our subscribers. We appreciate all the support and how much our channel has grown already blows us away every day. The reason we came to the Philippines for this trip is to explore the beautiful untouched islands that make it so unique and we’re sticking to our rough itinerary this time. We’re just here to explore and document it for our future selves and for you guys to experience it with us 🫶🏼 having 4K of you with us means the world to us. We’re super grateful for where we are right now and will be happy for any growth we have in the future 🥰

@@TheBryancolits I know. What i'm saying is most foreign youtubers stay in the capital because they get a lot of subscribers there. Majority of big cities in the Philippines are chaotic and 90% of foreign tourists came here for island adventures. Personally i prefer smaller cities like Dumaguete and Puerto Princesa. But i guessed this lovely couple are different from other couple vloggers . They came here to enjoy the islands and documented their journey and not for the views and subscibers .I've actually following them both in YT and IG .

That trycicle was expensive, you can haggle because some of those transports are overpriced! Try to bargain or ask for lower price when you buy or ride a trycicle in the Philippines. I always watch you Guys and no skip ads to help with your expenses. You two are so likable and adorable, just stay kind and sweet, we like you.

Glad to see you guys in Cebu! The best way to make the classic filipino dip/sauce is to mix the chili and calamansi (lime) together with the soysauce and vinegar, then you cut the chili in half for a bit of heat. Chef’s kiss 👌🏼. Hope you’ve been enjoying your stay in Cebu and cant wait to see more of your travel adventures here in the ph!! 🙏🏼

That's a perfect proper meal after a bit chaotic boat journey although a bit pricey I think. There was a restaurant up north in Baguio city I tried called 'Good Taste' and the price & serving is unbelievable. You should try that someday if you happen to be up north.

Great food reaction video guys. People usually cut up the hot pepper with their spoon into little pieces in the saucer, then pour the vinegar and soy sauce over the pepper then squeeze the calamansi juice into it and mix everything with your spoon. That sauce is a staple for many dishes and you’ll probably see it in most restaurants/carinderia’s.
You're suppose to crush the chili in the soy sauce + vinegar, slice the little green lemon (kalamansi) then squeeze the juice in the sauce. That's how you make a proper dipping sauce for Lechon. I was dying laughing when you just bit the chili lmao.
for the lechon dipping sauce, the lime is called calamansi, instead of the vinegar you squeeze it on the soy sauce and you crush the chili in it.
The 2 patients couple is back to Cebu 😂😂😂 enjoy guy's and keep safe always ❤️❤️❤️

12:54 - You mix those chili and calamansi (lime) with the vinegar and soy sauce to make a chilimansi sauce/dip for the lechon. But for me, I like it better without dipping sauce.
That filipino lime is called calamansi supposed to be poured together with your sauce
the dip is universal thats why u always see those 4 things when u order anything. mix the toyo (soy sauce) , vinegar, kalamansi and slice the chili in half which will be ur dipping sauce. and i agree with someone who said u have to stay in 1 place for at least 2 to 4 days so u can roam around n get lotsa shots. usually 1 place gets 2 to 3 vlogs then move to the next one.
Cebu Lechon is good as well as the spicy variety!👍 got excited with the teaser at the end!

@@jakeandtiff yes, you should try the spicy lechon!🙂 Can't wait for your new videos!👍
The lime which is kalamansi is commonly used to add more flavor to a food or a sauce/dip. So basically you put soy sauce in that small bowl and add the kalamansi if you love spicy then add the chili then pressed it with the spoon but be careful and that's it. That's a great combination "Toyomansi" toyo for soysauce and mansi(kalamansi) for the lime. This combo goes well with any fried or roasted food like letchon, chicken, fried fish and pork and so on.

Calamansi is for the soy sauce +chili❤️❤️❤️vinegar is for the lechon
Mix vinegar with soy sauce, squeeze the calamansi juice in the mix, and crush the chili pepper in the sauce. After that, dip your meat into that sauce. That's the way you do it.

The chili is usually mix with made sauce to add spice for your dip. Aside from lechon of cebu u can try chicharon. A deep fried pork skin or chicharon bulaklak(pig intistine) its a snack match with a beer or just snaking.

clever how thru the years cebu has appropriated lechon as a dish that was created by them 🤣. Lechon did not originate in cebu lol. 50 years ago nobody even heard of it as a cebuano dish much less as cebu as a lechon haven. 30 years ago i had a conversation with a friend who had family living in la loma qc where manilans get their lechon, the most popular was MILA's who i heard my friend is owned by a family who hails from negros oriental ( tanjay or bais?) and not cebu but were referred to as cebuanos. Thats how "cebu" style lechon came about in manila. Prior to coming to manila they had their lechon business in cebu. Lechon is cooked all over the country as long as cebu or any particular place. It is not even filipino in origin, it is chinese.
