Alright, let’s get started! So, We Feed Raw is a dog food company that serves balanced raw meals packed with quality ingredients and nutrients that a dog requires. They offer a variety of recipes formulated by a Ph.D. animal nutritionist with over 30 years of experience. The food patties are pre-portioned according to the weight, breed, and nutritional requirements of the pet and contain 100% meat, organs, and finely ground bones, added with essential vitamins and minerals. All their food is sourced from USDA-approved human-grade meats that come from trusted farms in the US and New Zealand. Okay, before we get into all the details, let me give you a short backstory of how it all began. So, my dog, Bruno, wasn't doing well for about a week. She started losing weight and was visibly inactive. When I took her to the vet, he said it was because of some digestive issues that she was facing. He explained to me that dogs are meant to live in the wild. Their hinged jaws, pointy teeth, and simple digestive systems are meant to digest and gain nutrients from proteins, bones, and fats of raw flesh. And, when we feed them with kibble, we’re actually playing with their immunity and overall health. So, that’s when I decided to feed Bruno with a raw diet. And, after a lot of research on the internet, I gave We Feed Raw a shot. Now, what I really like about them, is that they have six different varieties of recipes consisting of beef, chicken, duck, lamb, turkey, and venison. All these contain different amounts of protein, fat, fiber, and moisture, and offer varied amounts of calories. And, the best thing about it is that I didn’t need to be a pro at planning my dog’s diet. Now, when it comes to pricing, We Feed Raw offers customized meal plans for dogs, and the cost depends on the dog’s breed, weight, and specific nutrient needs. So, a six-week meal plan for a chihuahua might cost somewhere around $124, whereas, a six-week meal plan for a Bernese Mountain Dog might cost $675. While the prices are certainly on the higher side, they offer the flexibility to choose between 100%, 75%, and 50% We Feed Raw meals. This is an excellent way of supplementing We Feed Raw’s patties with other dog food, making it possible for your dog to get the benefits of a balanced raw diet at affordable costs. Okay, now it’s time I tell you how this new diet helped Bruno get better. So, in just a couple of weeks, I could see Bruno jumping around happily, and definitely more active and playful than she’s been in months. Her skin and coat were softer and shinier. She started enjoying her food much more than before. When we visited the vet after about a month of starting the raw diet, he could see visible improvements in her weight and overall health. All the essential nutrients that her body needed to work were retained in the raw diet that she was consuming from We Feed Raw, while they were being lost with kibble due to the high heat processing. So, all in all, would I recommend We Feed Raw? I absolutely would. I can’t thank them enough for bringing back my playful Bruno. Their balanced and nutritious raw diet helped her get immunity and the benefits of vitamins and minerals that she was lacking.
