I wouldn't recognise any famous pool players, even though there is a pool table and team in most pubs in the UK. My friend has just moved to California from the UK to work, and he has joined a dart team in a local bar, I'm not sure if they play the same format as us though.

Agree. Big aspinal fan for just how he enjoys the game for big shots and wins whether it's him or the opponent. Then I get thinking Clayton, Cullen, Micheal Smith, Peter Wright, Dobey, and many others are the same way just enjoying life. Makes it fun and a special sport on its own.

That's the pleasant difference (of many individual sports) to football. There is prize money of X amount and no van Gerwen, Wright, or whoever can say: "I'm not even traveling for that!" While 18-year-old "boys" are hyped by their advisors, earn millions and behave as if they have already achieved something in life. I am also a fan of my hometown's football team. But such “athletes” are extremely unpleasant.

It was a fab night to be a part of, still can’t believe it 😂

Good to see how many of the amateurs were clearly aware that they were playing noticeably stronger players!

This is what makes being alive today so wonderful - I woke up at 5am today, made a cup of coffee and this randomly popped up on my feed. I just watched a bunch of guys 1/2 way around the world have a lot fun, smiles and a great time playing a simple game of darts. It’s the little things folks. The little things in life that bring us together, make us smile and help to try and make our short time here enjoyable. Thanks to everyone in this video in helping to remind me to smile and enjoy life. Thank you from Long Island, NY.

Yeah man can you imagine heading out to play your favorite game for a chance to watch the best of the best play only to not only find out some of the best are there but to literally hang with them after! Enjoy a pint and shoot the shit with some of the best players in the world.

Great to see London's Best Darts pub was used for this - was lucky to be up there at the end of the evening and everyone had a fabulous night

Would love to see Asp get far, but I think its down to Humphris or MvG, but I bet MvG will fail in the very late stages - Been kind of a thing the last few years now.

Great video lads.these players have come from humble beginners playing for their local darts teams,to playing for big prize money,a lot of hard work to compete with the big boys.

Genuinely a fun and sincere moment. Props to the make up artists, the banter and folks that were there. Was great to see so many ladies in attendance also 😁✌🏽

@@motorhead4870Clayton was fairly obvious with his throw, but Asp is fairly generic in throwstyle and Cullen and Dobey were VERY well disguised! Only Johnny would stick out - His face structure was also still visible in disguise.

i saw Jocky Wilson at a pub event in Fife years ago. Watched him practice and hit a nine darter just warming up. In the competition he marched to the semi final but the guy he played was fantastic and should have won but Jocky just got though. He was a gentleman all night, much loved in his local area.

for all participants it is a special experience to be able to play against these stars and to be so close to them to have autographs and selfies with them. It's nice when stars aren't out of touch

I was one of the players in the tournament & can confirm no one had a clue (except for the PDC staff) all the pros used completly different darts, flights & throws. Some even used accents (Cullens Welsh accent needs work 😂)

She’d have Called Me and Told Me, She’s Met the Real Paddy Power!! lol 😂😂 Keep doing what you’re doing, cause you’re making Great Memories for People that they’ll never forget! 👌👏👏🎯
