Thanks for making a video exclusively for Jeep. As a proud owner of a Compass, makes me so happy. However, the low sales numbers always get me thinking as to the future of the brand… Hope they revive soon..

Same here. Petrol automatic. It gives very low mileage in city but I cannot think of anything that is better engineered at this price.

Why are American car brands so underrated in India? People clearly fail to recognise such amazing cars. Chevrolet, Ford i hope the same doesn't repeat for Jeep

It's mainly quality control. And it's not just India. Apart from Ford, both Jeep and Chevy don't sell in huge numbers in most Asian markets. And Ford's global policy is the reason why they exited most markets including India ( focus on production of large SUVs for higher profit margins than play the numbers game with smaller cars). The reasons behind Jeep and Chevy not selling are also the same - long-term costs are much larger than Japs or Koreans, reliability ratios are much lesser and local mechanics don't have as much experience in working on their engines, and the service aspect, especially in India is a huge hit or miss.

Not the fault of people if the brand's themselves shoot at their own feet. Pulling the plug on petrols when the market is ditching diesels in favour of petrols, insisting on having an automatic box with AWD, continuous price hikes with little value addition to show for it. Compass/Meridian are great cars, just sold by the wrong company

Also, FCA service and sales is a major pain in the ass. Esp one in Guwahati. Mahesh fiat is full of crooks and thieves. Everytime i give them my car, something or the other breaks. Horrible experience. I am 100% sure they steal parts and look to make fools out of customers at every opportunity. I should sue them.

I own jeep compass model s.. it's superior than all the suv under its price.. feels premium.. these cars are not at all comparable to any other suvs in India.. jeeps are unique

Main problems for Jeep cars: 1. Bad network 2. Poor after sales 3. Overpriced 4. Expensive to maintain 5. Reliability 6. Spare parts availability Otherwise, rest all aspects are good...

@@chandan9019 Bro I own a Compass 1.4 DCT, i20 Nline DCT, Wagon R Manual and a Seltos DCT. Am saying this as I have faced issues with the product which are still not resolved and am not the only Jeep owner who is facing ratling noise, extremely sluggish transmission performance and issues with rear tailgate. There are other many drawbacks like aftersales service etc.

@Storyofmovie2505 Yes you are right I don't own jeep and I know nothing, socha yaaha likes mil jayenge toh coment kar diya. Mere pass gaadi bhi nahi hai I can't even afford swift. I hope this satisfies you. Also am 100% sure you are a satisfied jeep owner no doubt in that.
