Yeah it's been so long.. I also miss her But maybe she's taking a break from all the pressure and wanted to focus on her life... But I miss her videos.. 💜

This has to be the best glow up from her getting rejected as an intern to then buzzfeed employees remaking her style.

I love how Tahirah makes sure to shout out the businesses she uses products from and is able to make something similar that she feels comfortable in as a hjabi woman and plus size! This is totally a compliment, I promise! It wasn't meant to be offensive or anything like that. You go Tarhirah! Also, what a cool, beautiful, and unique name!

@@Hannah.19996 I get that, I thought they looked good still though. Plus, sometimes modesty is important to women especially those who wear a hjab. I wouldn't say it is a bad thing though. The video still has both sides. However, you can have your opinion and I will have mine. Not everyone feels comfortable in the style that Ashley wears, and I think that is ok.

I know right I mean I grew up thinking that thrifting was bad and I never bought anything that wasn't new from the store but I am so glad that it's trending because it really opened up my eyes and it's even fun

Tahirah's 2nd outfit was my fav! 4:17 That patterned jacket with the black pants w/ white stitching.

All these recreations look amazing and Janna and Tahirah both look so beautiful!!!

It's nice to see hijabi women being featured more often in these types of videos. Hijabis really do the most with fashion!! So many creative options for layering and using their headscarves as part of the look!

When Tahirah mentioned plus size thrifting, I laughed. Mostly because I FEEL HER PAIN!! Trying to find used plus sized clothes is a nearly impossible QUEST. Why? Because, when a plus size woman finds something she loves, that fits and looks good, we wear it until it falls off our bodies. It's a struggle just shopping for plus sized clothes.

I use Poshmark, and I've used thread up. They normally have a good selection for us, but yes, definitely rock it til the wheels fall off 😆

So true. I used to love thrifting when I was younger & slimmer, but I gave up the last few years. It’s too disheartening as a size 18.
