I disagree for one reason, it would get stale. No matter how good something is, if it is overdone it becomes generic and boring. Classic Disney music used to be top shelf quality but they stuck to the formula for so long that it became stale, that's why Lin Manuel Miranda's sound is so fresh and new. They need to experiment with more new styles, not just choose a new standard

The musical term for that overlap you're talking about is Counterpoint, and it's really amazing when it's done well ❤

I love your reaction! You should react to Family Madrigal before watching other videos so you can get the gist of everyone, their personalities and their powers. THEN, you should DEFINITELY watch Luisa’s song, Surface Pressure! Both songs are amazing, well all songs are but those three are definitely at the top for me! Encanto actually won best Animated Feature Film at the Golden Globes. Dos Oruguitas was also nominated for best motion picture original song, but was beaten by Billie Eilish's "No Time to Die" from the James Bond movie of the same name.

During the overlap while Mirabel is putting together the vision, Isabella starts singing “I’m fine” over and over again while looking like she’s gonna cry and eventually hiding her face behind her arms. She may be my second least favorite character in the movie, that being said there are no bad characters in the movie.

My boyfriend pestered me for like 2 days to listen to this song and I was like no! (For no real reason I just was being a brat.) After seeing the ending to the song, I didn't say anything I just picked up the remote. Turned on the TV, and opened up Disney channel because I was watching this freaking movie! And then I cried for a like a full quarter of the movie and was kind of an emotional wreck for most of the next day... Movie is fantastic, but it REALLY gets ya in the feels.

We must not forget that the voices are from Colombian singers, thanks Colombia is a charm

The fact that Lin-Manuel legit just brought straight bars in a Disney song is one of the reasons I love the man

If you look back at Dolores's verse, you can see Bruno in the background just jammin' and boppin' his head along. The fact that he's literally vibin' to the very song that trashtalks him just shows you how much of an earworm it is.

the movie is so addicting I've watched it eight times it is very very good and you should listen to other songs like waiting on a miracle or surface pressure or what else can I do

This could be a musical? This IS a musical. Written and directed by one of the best musical-directors of our time, Lin Manuel Miranda. If you look at the background dancers and the whole presentation you can clearly see the "musical vibe"

I love this movie a lot my daughter loves it too. This song is my favorite and then Surface Pressure. We don’t talk about Bruno actually passed Let it go from Frozen thank god lol. Camilo and Dolores are my favorite parts in this song. Camilo where he shape shifts into “Bruno” and then Dolores part with the little quiet rap.

El vallenato no suena para nada en esta canción (y mejor porque se la hubiera tirado). La base es un son montuno, que es un ritmo antillano, pero no colombiano. La parte de Dolores es un rap y la de Camilo suena más a pop. Lo único que no es muy "colombiano" aquí es la música. En lo demás, Disney acertó en la ambientanción de diversos elementos visuales colombianos.

One of my favourite things when first hearing this song is that everyone's prophecy sounds like a curse except isabella's, but to her it is a curse, for everything to be perfect.

This is one of my favorite Disney movies now....

Colombia is the largest exporter of emerald in the world. 4. All the gifts of the family represent something Colombian. Pepa represents the country's varied and rare climate. Camilo the variety of races and ethnic groups of the country. Dolores gossip. Antonio biodiversity. Isabela the flora. Juliet the gastronomy. Luisa the work of the Colombian, could we say (? 5. All the clothes you see in the movie, including hats, are cultural from all over the country. That is why it is disrespectful to us that Disney sells it. 6. Candles represent a lot in our culture, in fact we have a day dedicated to lighting candles. Hence why the candles in the movie. 7.The palma de Cera that is mentioned in Isabela's song, and seen throughout the town, is the national tree of Colombia, and is the largest type of palm in the world. 8.
