The Emerica name was created from "Etnies of America", and they shortened it to "Emerica", as a new sub brand in america with the "core" and gritty image. And es comes from the first and last letter of Etnies, as the more tech company of the 3 brands.

@@therealwewin they are the top of the umbrella that Es and Emerica were under. Etnies is like the DC of Soletech, they have shoes for all forms of extreme sports and branches out a lot, so the money they get comes from having their eggs in various baskets that generate a lot of revenue

this is what skateboarding is all about.
