The "Next time, we will find the answer together." choice has Amon response with a line that I think finishes out his character arc really well.

Yeah... knowing the outcome of this trial, chat was brutal for not giving a heads up lol

I think this fight is actually really cool to do with the scions. It is the only trial in the game where that's possibly, and that's intentional. Mechanically, it is hard to program so many ais to check conditions and behave in the correct manner for fairly complex mechanics. But this fight it was important that they made some way for the scions to participate. Some fun facts: because of her aether sight, Y'shtola is supposedly the best character to follow here. She is supposed to be your very own safety dorrito. Not always successful. You also don't wipe when you die; instead, you get a certain number of deaths before you have to restart. Some of the scions naturally show off their personalities in their programming. For example, Alisae will always snatch the lb if you aren't quick enough because of her compedative nature. She also is the most likely to get hit by markers; Alphy prioritizes healing her a bit as a result.

@@seavyteavy yes you can always redo it with the trusts. No feature in ff14 except removed ones are one time only. Well and holiday events.

Couple of things about the edit, your vocal audio vs the in game sound is a bit quite and there are times when the game audio is incorrect for what is happening from about 11:50 it looks like you kept the same in game audio until the cut at 13:00. Sorry to nitpick just thought you would like to be made aware. Hope you two continue to enjoy FFXIV.

Not at all, I personally appreciate the nitpicking. I actually try to normalize all the audio in edit (individually), which means Davinci must've thought it needed to be louder and quieter in those areas lol. I actually just watched the mother crystal scene at the end, and for some reason, KZread decided to mute out the prelude song while it's definitely there in the source file.

@jaric3597 And yes, I purposefully unsycned the in game audio in those parts. I was experimenting to see which would sound better; Keeping in game music stable through cuts or having it sound cut up during each multiple cuts. Looks like I gotta do better in hiding it!

@@seavyteavy I can understand why you would want to in places but it may be better to have a sample of the dungeon theme rather than the raw game audio if you are going to do that as SFX are an easy and distracting giveaway. If you want to get an as it were "room tone" for a dungeon an easy way is going into it with Explorer mode on of the toggles in the Duty finder settings in Duty finder. People will probably still notice especially when a dungeon theme is playing when a boss theme should be or the absence of the SFX but it will give you a cleaner sound to speak over.

That does make sense, but I'm not sure I'm to the point of gathering samples of dungeon music yet. With you pointing this out though, I've been experimenting with audio transitions today and found that 0 db cross transitions actually sound much better than hard cuts. I'll try that out for the finale video next week if we finish EW.
