Come with us to climb the tallest Mountain in North Africa.
The Atlas mountain range of Morocco is known for its rugged terrain and unpredictable weather, and Mount Toubkal is no exception. It stands at a staggering 4167m tall, and none of us had ever attempted to climb anything even close to this height. However, the challenge was too great to resist, and we were determined to reach the summit.
As we began our ascent, we were greeted with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. However, the climb was far from easy. Britt had suffered from a knee injury a couple of weeks prior and was struggling to keep up. The weather also took a turn for the worse, and we were hit with hail storms, snow, and ice. We had to navigate through treacherous terrain and deal with multiple falls, making the climb even more challenging.
Despite the obstacles, we persevered and continued to push ourselves. The sense of accomplishment we felt when we finally reached the summit was indescribable. We had conquered Mount Toubkal, and it was an experience we would never forget.
