Hello from Vancouver Island, where we have been full-time RVers for 7 years (winter camping isn't always great, as I sit here with snow around me and rain in the forecast for the next 7 days.) That said, we're talking about doing a van conversion ourselves since fuel is so expensive these days (we've got a 40' 5th wheel) and we'd like to get away for weekends to ski or go boating and eventually take the van to Europe for a year or two. Two issues that we have currently, which I see as a problem with this van build, are clothes storage (winter and summer, along with all the variations of jackets, shoes, and boots we seem to need), and having room for our sports stuff (we ski in the winter, go boating/wakeboarding, hiking, and golfing in the summer). If you were to do a similar build again, what would you change to accommodate a full-time, active lifestyle where "stuff" takes up space? I couldn't give up fridge or pantry space as eating out is not a viable option due to food intolerances (I love my air fryer too, which would take up a good chunk of garage space), and I would have to have a shower. I know, I know, I know ... just a little demanding! However, I never thought we could go from 2000 sq ft to 355 sq ft and we did. Just trying to figure out a way to go even smaller. I like your elevator bed and I've seen other van builds with murphy beds, which are more our style. Just wondering if you've considered a design that may be as equally beautiful while being more practical for active full-timers who'd need room for the things I mentioned.

Can you tell that my background is as a business strategist... who is also a nomad at heart? Happy to collaborate with you for a future design, if that helps :) I don't want to hijack your channel, so if you are interested, you can Google and find me. All this said, with the crap that has happened this week with our "home base", and trying to figure out the next step, van life (not in Canada in winter) along with a plan for self-reliant income, seems to be our destiny.

The pot is a good size, we just needed specific induction cookware, which we thought we had but turns out we didn’t!
