As someone who worked in office supplies, I love this! Quire, huh? But why 24 OR 25 sheets? Is a quire like “equal to 2 dozen” (like a fortnight is 2 weeks), and 25 sheets is kinda like a “baker’s quire”? 😆

@@EBrenry 24 sheets is because of historical bookbinding reasons. It's always divisible by 2, and usually divisible by 4, because individual leaves are folded at least once and often twice. But 25 is a convenient fraction of a ream, which is 500 sheets.

I feel, in many ways, being a 17-year-old in the 1990s was easier than being one in 2020s. Sure, it's great to have all the music in the world available for you to listen at any given time, but there is also so much of everything, and it's quite overwhelming sometimes.

I was a teen in the 00s and I agree teens now have it harder. In my teens, we were in the infancy of the internet, social media, and cell phone age. None of us were really overwhelmed with all of that yet.

😂 A 17 year old can get an iPad for $400 today whereas in 94 a thinkpad would’ve been around $2000, the equivalent of $4200 now. No 17 year old would’ve had it unless it was Richie Rich. He also would’ve probably still have been using a cassette tape player vs a cd player for a couple of more years.

Gwen Stafani returned with No Doubt for Coachella so that’s a huge W. Real winning factor for Woodstock 94 for me would be tickets were way cheaper than Coachella for sure 😂

When I was 17 I had a massive 4x100 case filled with CDs that I carried in a back breaking backpack at all times. Now I have an iPhone. Today is WAY better.

Every Sunday night I would agonize over which 12 CDs I would put into my backpack CD case for the week. It was very stressful

Most of the 17-year-old music fans I know have a CD player and a record player along with a Spotify premium subscription

I didn't go but I was devoutly old enough to see Woodstock 99 and it was legendary. It was Limp Bizkit when the crowd started going crazy.

That's something that has always aggravated me about people with laptops those knobs barely have to be touched to register you don't have to shove your finger inside of the laptop for it to work

I think it's best of both worlds I have Spotify and I buy LP's and cassette of some of my favourite artists
