When they heared "in the Van" it could have been one of the Stalkers. Because when Woods said " hes here", Mat drove the Van around the building. And the stalker looked like he was walking toward the way Mat came. So one of the Stalkers could have told the other to check the Van if someone was in it. Just a theory.

I feel like another reason these videos are so captivating is that whenever something important happens, Matt goes into thumbnail mode and everything gets intense.

Sam getting out of the van like a news reporter

If they had "ran into" Syphus while they were driving around to red base, but the mercury mountaineer was gone, how could he have gotten out of site and then just drove away? My theory is that he got a "teammate" to help him get the stuff and go. Perhaps they ran into either him or his teammate, and when he ran, he ran to the mountaineer which was already started and waiting for him, almost like a get-a-way car.
