It's four days now, and I've still not gotten over Lando's win. I've literally watched the highlights everyday. ...hope to see more of this in 2024.

So you must have noticed how he was gifted this win then cause if the SC procedures where followed he would have come out behind Max and maybe even Charles and then he wouldnt have won. He was stuck behind Checo for ages, so overtaking was almost impossible. And dont come at me with this propaganda lies F1 is spreading that you only lost 9 seconds under the SC, cause during the race Brundle and co said you'll lose about 14 sec in the pitlane under SC rules and we have never seen any pitlane with such a short time loss, its just not possible. Never ever have you heard of such a small time loss, thats the propaganda that is send out by those who commited this act of treason.

@@VinnieDayz So what? He got lucky with SC yes, but he had the sheer pace to get away from Max, which in itself is deserving of a win. Can't you just be happy that one of the grid's best driver's dream came true? Literally everyone was / is happy for him, even Max. Norris deserved it, just pull that thing out of your a**.

@@VinnieDayz IF this, SHOULD this, COULD this, BUT this No one cares, a win is a win regardless of the circumstances. Max was not going to fight hard for that victory given his floor damage.

Really stoked for him . One of the most universally popular victories i've seen in a long time. It is also nice for Lando that Miami wasn't part of a double header so Norris was allowed to revel in his win and have a week to let it sink in.

I so believe Lando will be a world champ one day. What a legend of a person!

Imola will decide the rest of the season; a proper race track, Ferrari Mclaren and Redbull will have fully upgraded cars and 3 full practice sessions to get the best setup. Gonna be an exciting race weekend, we will know truly how much the gap has closed up.

Imola has been a very good circuit for us , while miami one of the worst. People forget that Miami is hell for Mcl cars characteristics and that before the weekend, we were talking damage limitation, even with the upgrade.

The whole point for all fans is it looks like it's no longer a one horse race.

If McLaren can continue to develop the car and get their strategies right this season, there's absolutely no reason why Lando or Oscar can't win more races this year. Red Bull are still the quickest, but they're not the dominant force they were last year I reckon.

The first race I watched fully was Austria 2020 I believe his first podium. He held off Hami for quite a few laps and even lewis shouted his praises. The last two laps where he realed hamilton in to pip him for 3rd was *chefs kiss* DTS sealed me in and I like mclaren already and then I seen a clip where Verstappen was asked who else on the grid is champion material, and without hesitation he said Lando and from then on I was convinced this boy will be great and haven't regretted it one bit. And to see he maintains the utmost respect with other drivers showed on Sunday. Everyone was thrilled for Lando. I was jumping!!

I'm new to F1 and I have friends who love different teams or drivers but for me is Mclaren! 🧡 Let's go Lando! Let's go Oscar! I know you will be world champions someday!

I am so happy for him and I got tears in my eyes when he jumped in the arms of the team... but will they win again? On pure race pace NO but as long as they are at the front to get a win like this and Max in unlucky than YES. The RB in the hands of Max is just something else. Max has ALL poles and would have won ALL the races if not for brake failure and an unlucky SC. That is just mindblowing to think off. He is more dominant than he was last year.

Remember, Miami is one of the 3 worst circuit for Mclaren cars.

Lando may have saved F1 in the USA with his MIami win. Max taking everything at every event was making it a little too boring for most American fans.

Lando was regularly out qualifying perez in 2022, and he got 2 sprint poles in the past 3 sprints

I'm happy for them, but how is no one talking about the mess of a safety car?! he only had a 9 second lead before the SC and the SC collected max slowing him down while lando was still driving to the pits. Without that Lando comes out P2/P3 behind the SC and there is 0 chance he would overtake max & lec. No one investigated becase a brit was on the podium.

Personally I had never seen that before (i’ve been watching properly since 2021). So i was confused how they’d fix it. If i think about it, Either Max or Lando would have still won i think. (I’m a fan of them both) The VSC was understandable because of the cone Max hit in turn 15, but the SC Lando DID get lucky absolutely… but that’s also apart of racing, if Max had that luck no one would be bothered.

You are mistaken. SC couldn’t pick Lando up on that lap, Lando already passed pit exit before SC could leave the pitlane, and even if it came out a little later, picked up Leclerc and let Max go, the gap between Max and Lando was 18s, plenty of time for a free pitstop.

The only way the FIA could've helped him in Miami is if they instructed other drivers to stage a crash shortly before he was due to pit to make sure he could do so under the safety car. It seems to me that you've just got a personal beef against either Norris, McLaren or both and are talking complete and utter piffle that does nothing other than make you look really stupid. F1 is not a sport, its an entertainment industry. We are watching aomething similar to wrestling where plot lines are faked and outcomes are staged! SKy sports doesnt report on it, cause they eat from this circus called F1. Lando and the teams as well, they benefit from the sport growing and with Max dominating they felt that the sport was in danger of losing fans and money, so they switched it up with a Faulty Safety car and after Abu Dhabi 21 they briefed all involved that this could happen more often and that they are expected to play along with it. SO I lost all respect for all you people, you should be ashamed of yourself and what you did to this sport.

Max had grip issues with the car throughout the sprint and the race. Wasn’t quite 100% plus he messed up a turn and hit a cone

It's a fair point. The British press always do this to our sportsmen and teams, infiltrate their success and build a pedestal, then stand back and burn it down from underneath them when they fail to live up to the words 'they' put in their mouths.
