Whilst you may get some satisfaction from Spurs losing, surely there's more pleasure in seeing us win. For Spurs, defeat or even a draw, isn't a massive problem, as we are far from the finished article, so this year is all about the build process. Fair play to the Woolwich. if you win the league, you deserve it.

Not match fixing but you can't stop a team giving less effort than they do at other times. We see it all the time late in seasons when a team has already attained their objective, they take their foot off the gas. Impossible to make players care if they are already mentally checked out.

Part of the reason city have an easy run is that no one gets up to play them...they have no really heated rivalries. Compare that to Arsenal, man u or liverpool they each have 3 or 4 teams that will always give their all against them.

FA manipulated all this to deny Arsenal, rescheduling and rescheduling.

Thing is that Arsenal aren’t even a rival. They are a much bigger club, we can’t compete. It’s not like Lazio-Roma rivalry where things are really close.

As much as Barca and Real Madrid hate each other, they will NEVER root against their team even if that would prevent their arch rivals from winning a Trophy. It's just impossible. That's the mentality of a big club.

No one lost in purpose to Leicester, in fact, Arsenal beat Leicester in both games that season (5-2 and 2-1), so no comparison at all... this actually does prove how pathetic Tottenham fans are! Thank you for bringing it up (and I eint even an Arsenal fan). If you gave Woolwich the same treatment (as they gave you in Leicester's season), you`d actually try your best against City if you had any chance, and not bend over purposely. Your clubs integrity is in question, and I hope for Tottenham's sake that it is different from it's own fans!

Dont let a good story get in the way of the truth. Spurs' White Hart Lane was built in 1899. You lot cam from south of the river and hence the name (Woolwich is your home). There's only one, true North London Club, in the NLD.

We're already basically locked in 5th. Not being delusional, seeing as we're not even through our first season with a new manager and an entirely different squad essentially, were in a proper rebuild, we're not ready for CL. (Though it would probably help the summer transfer window.) A cup run in the Europa (which everyone will say we can't win and also take the Mick if we do win) is perfect for our team at this time.

This scenario reminds me of Brendan R's Liverpool. Liverpool hoped Everton to win against ______. ( I forgot the club).

As a spurs fan, I’m disgusted at the Spurs fans more worried about Arsenal winning the title than wanting us to win EVERY MATCH no matter what the consequences, period! If we want to be challenging at the very top level, we should want to win against the very best EVERY chance we get. No exceptions. Every win is a step forward. Rivalry pales in comparison to building a team with the belief that they can beat anyone, anytime. And the next chance to do that is City. Honestly can’t believe the mentality of some of our fans. Embarrassing.

Let's face the reality,in as much as we want spurs to stop city, chances of them losing to man city is so high looking at how poor they are at the moment.

I have no doubt that Arsenal fans would NOT want Tottenham to win trophies, but to the point of wanting their team to lose on purpose!? I doubt that very much due to the facts that: Arsenal fans should not feel threatened if Spurs win a 3rd Title when Arsenal themselves are on 13 titles already. And why did Arsenal beat Leicester in both games during the season when Leicester were challenging for the title against Tottenham?

I expect MC to win tonight but they do struggle at certain grounds. They haven't won at Liverpool for 20 years, with a crowd in anyway, they aren't great at Wolves, and they used to struggle against Southampton. Given how mentally strong they seem to be it is surprising.

The purpose to play a sport is to win the game. I have never met an athlete & my experience playing competitive sport to go and try to lose the game.

I don't think Levey would be happy to miss out on Champions League revenues along having the draw to attract better players. And Ange will be the same, and that should focus the players .
