Ойын-сауық

We Butter The Bread With Butter does some of the goofiest stuff, and yet manages to pull it off so well! 20 km/h was this month's Patreon voted video, and it was a hoot! Amazing high vocals, thick low growls and.......old telephone noises.....manage to come together for a song that is honestly so much fun to listen to. Hang out with me while I react to WE BUTTER THE BREAD WITH BUTTER "20 km/h"!

    Marci, guitarist and founder once said in an interview why they choose all this goofy stuff. They thougt there are a lot of metalbands that take themselves very very serios, with highly emotional and dark lyrics. They wanted to set kind of a contrapoint to that.

    WBTBWB and Infant Annihilator are the same style, just complete opposite ends of the spectrum. WBTBWB said other bands take themselves way to seriously and made it goofy. IA said other bands take them selves way too seriously so let’s see how we can top that. Both are parodies, one just went the goofy route and the other went the ridiculously over the top route, and I love all of it. Two completely opposite directions

    His vocal technique must be super healthy. I mean, he's performed in WBTBWB 11 years ago for 3 years, came back now and his screaming voice hasn't changed one bit. With the new-old vocalist Paul, who left the band recently, you can clearly hear his vocal chords failing as his live performances sound worse and increasingly more painful. Would be cool if you checked out some of their stuff with their previous vocalist to kind of investigate whether he was doing something unhealthy technique-wise. I'd recommend Bang Bang Bang since he does a variety of different vocal styles in it

  • @pietandersen6120

    @pietandersen6120

    3 жыл бұрын

    I always thought the problem with Paul was an inability to execute properly live. He was a capable vocalist in the studio, but something about the setting, being that strenuous physical activity, being unable to pause to do multiple takes or the techniques in and of themselves having high dynamic range so having to overexert on certain phrases to be audible.

    The crazy frog part is just him making driving noises. It's a little like "Wroom wroom". Don't know if we germans are the only ones to do these when pretending to drive a little car or in his case the "E-Roller".
