Actually in America everything is taxed so the family would have to pay out half the value of the house to keep it. Even then, the property tax and cost to maintain the home would add up faster than you'd think.

I'm an Australian expat living in Thailand. rent is approximately $200 USD per month and meals cost about $1.30 each if I buy from street vendors. a can of coke is 40 cents. I can make enough to support myself day trading here but my own country is far too expensive. I'm starting to get sick of Asia and considering giving America a try.

@@energeticstunts993 developed countries are too expensive... that is why I can't live in Australia. As a day trader, I earn around $1000 USD per month. If I can save and reinvest some of my earnings, my income grows. I hope to be able to afford living in a developed country one day, but that is not currently possible. MrBeast and I both have Crohn's disease. Every medication my doctors tried only worked for a short period of time before my body developed a resistance to it. I'm frequently sick, unable to work regular jobs and can only keep my symptoms under control by overusing the steroid prednisolone. Abusing this medication endangers my liver and makes me aggressive / prone to rage.

Jimmy is in all likelihood a complete psychopath who couldn't care about the less fortunate if he wanted to. He does everything he does to drive KZread views. I don't know if you're ever going to read this but here in Minneapolis we are very short on homeless shelters. I've known people that have lived in them and I have known people that have had to sleep in parks because there wasn't enough room in the shelters. People have died here from the cold because there's no place for them to stay. I know our homeless population is in the thousands. I appreciate everything you have done and I ask that if you ever see this, would you be willing to help out the homeless people here? I'm not homeless myself, but I care enough that it breaks my heart thinking about the hardships people go through. Thank you, and keep doing what you are doing. You've helped SO many people, and you are amazing!

@@alanr4845 This has been a problem here for a long time. They claim there is no more room for shelters, but what do they do? They build a baseball stadium down the road from one. In other words, the city doesn't care and won't listen. I see people sleeping in tents literally every day. We just had a huge snowstorm, and it got into the -30's here with the windchill. Maybe once it's in the news people will actually start to care.

They didn't bring their whole equipment. Since there has been a general problem with lots of lost cargo, you have to keep it light. Besides, the weather conditions have been crazy lately, our country has been experiencing a lot of rains in the northern border, and getting tech into Costa Rica can be quite expensive. Maybe they just managed to send out some reduced amounts of videos, most of our upload speeds are 5 or 10 mbps. Too may variables to consider man. And those areas barely have any signal. These are just a few of the most distant communities in our country.

Dude your always 1 uping actual charities by proving how you help people, glad to see good people are becoming famous and doing good things

It does not work that way. You cant get +everyone home because a lot for the homeless are there because of addictions. You give them a house they will not take care of it and not be able to pay bills they will lose it.

My mom was supposed to go on her yearly Costa Rica trip with 17 seniors and 5 other chaperones to do service work for nine days. They do it almost every year ( except with covid- obviously) and help a school there where they give donated clothing and children’s toys they collect all year, but this year American Airlines canceled their flight the night they were supposed to leave and my mother tried literally everything to get them there and to do their service work, nothing worked. thank you for doing this to help the people there who need it. I just thought this whole story somewhat related to what you guys are doing to help. Thank you

Im from Costa Rica as well and I couldn’t agree with you more. This country is beautiful and I’m glad to see it’s being helped in it’s time of need. I recently went there and despite many living in not great conditions, they still try their best to live normally and with joy and hope within them as I have seen. God bless you as well.

@keyana goss hope you didn’t see my last comment as a negative one it wasn’t I was just pointing that there are a lot worse than things are in different areas but still this is a pretty bad thing that you pointed out of how donating clothes and food isn’t easy. As well people used to die in India from their massive air pollution so india struggles a lot not only not having a home but not having shelter to protect against the lung threatening air

I'm Sure you know this already but most people watching think "Oh, Mr Beast has enough money, he can do all the work to help out" but in reality we could all be coming together to help out. Just think there might be some sort of approach that make more people donate to your cause!! Because if everyone who watches even just donated a dollar, we could be changing the world! Don't Make Mr Beast Stand Out Alone!!!
