I LOVE IT!!!!!!! I'm 56 years old that was my first truck when I got my driver's license 16 years old. I noticed the old gun rack love it. When I got my truck 2 weeks later I got the hottest girl in town. I lost my virginity in that truck remember like it was yesterday. LOL

I started auto body in 1974 at a GMC dealer. I worked on a lot of these. Love the vertical side lamp round headlamp models so much better than the later ones.

My favorite KZread content is people giving someone a car that means something to them.

Nice I just bought a 1984 K20. It's in real good condition but I think I need to redo the interior. This gives me motivation

Awesome square body buddy!! I just baught myself another one!! It’s a 1TON 4x4 SRW 1981 GMC high Sierra with a manual tranny and 205 transfer case!! It used to be a local chef’s fire truck!! It has under a hundred thousand original miles on it and when looking under it you can find a bunch of the factories stickers with the part numbers on them!! Pretty darn cool if you ask me!! It does have a 350 sbc in it!! Not exactly sure what I’m going to put in it to replace the one that is in it now!!

I have a 1988 Chevy 1500 short bed that’s been in my family since it was new. This is my second time restoring it

Those third generation Chev & GMC C/K series pickups were produced from 1973 - 1991, except the half ton & three quarter ton regular cabs were done in 1987, & later the one ton regular cabs were done in 1989. 1973 was the first year for the optional bigger cab pickups which were the crew cabs. Like the crew cab pickups, the seventh generation Suburbans & second generation K5 Blazers & Jimmys were also produced from 1973 - 1991.

The white paint almost looks powder blue.😮

I'm fixing my 77 chevy k10 a new 350 this week.
