Brother!, that's the greatest thing I've ever heard! I lived on my small town world of MatchBox and HotWheels. building a city to play in???? GOLD!!!!!!!!!!!

Soooooo cool. Back when I was a kid in the 70s, my brother , me and our neighbor built this town for our HotWheels and Matchbox cars out in our backyard where our dad once had a failed garden spot ,Back then we didn't have the ready made towns and buildings we made the streets with powdered lime ,water, and dirt ,the houses and buildings out of scrap blocks and wood ,and crazy rocks ,it actually lasted for a whole summer ,through all the weather and my dad's riding mower, wasn't as cool as Little man's ,but we were only 9 or 10 Great video awesome city and thanks for bringing back the memories. I still have all of my cars from then ,Slowly giving them to my grandsons.

Town looks awesome I need to do this for my 4 year old, end of the town needs a drag strip 😍❤️👍😎

You not only display your imagination with the dioramas, but you pass that imaginative prowess onto your little guys. It doesn't seem anything less than a lark to Logan, and kid brother has yet to discover the wonderful world of happy motoring and diorama business districts. And you are the perfectly devoted sort of father every child should have. May you be blest; I have never been a father, but somehow, I can't say I'm without savvy, as well as heart and soul. You're doing stupendous; keep it up.

Dude, I just saw this and it warmed my heart. I built something similar for my little boy when he was 2. It was an entire railroad town posted on my Channel. Your boy will cherish the memories forever...and so will you. Mine is 8 now and still plays with it today!! Never stop playing with your kids and keep flying the Awesome Dad flag!

Hey great job! Im 48 and anytime im in a store i still go to the toy section and pick up some diecast cars! Dont grow out of it! Just found ur channel and looking at the posting date u may have added to the table by now. But i have a suggestion. I am a model railroader myself too and attend shows when i can. One of the coolest things i ever seen at a show was a drive in movie theater! A great place to stage all ur different cars! The builder put all the cars and scenery in place then took a portable dvd player and cut a hole in the base of the layout so just the screen stuck through and had a little shelf to hold the rest of the player. Then he actually put a dvd in the player and it looked like the cars were really in front of a full size screen watching a movie! You can put a showing of the movie "cars" w lightning mcqueen on! Put in a concession stand too! Heck im starting to want to make it! Thx for posting!

Mr. Cathy would love to hear this video about Chick-Fil-A.. Awesome job from a awesome dad JD ! You need a Shelby in there somewhere. How about a race track, a Ford dealership and definitely add the Chick-Fil-A. Need to add some lights in those buildings too. My son and me did a whole Matchbox / HotWheels diorama complete with tape roads and cardboard buildings on our dining room floor and left it there while he was a little guy; he's 20 now and we still talk about it being the best time ever.

Wow, wish I had the skill to build something this realistic. I have a decent collection of Hotwheels and 1:64s myself! My personal favorite is either my Tomica Vintage Limited Mazda 787B or my Hotwheels RLC Magnus Walker Urban Outlaw Porsche 964.

This is awesome and wholesome!! I’m going to make something like this for my 3 yr old son 👍🏼

I built a tyco race track around the town I built for my son (and me!) Really enjoyed watching this one JD. Cool to see Logan playing with the cars around the town! ✌🏻

Hi JD i love this toy car town i built a pop up one when i was 12 but i built it with writing paper. My mom bought me a hot wheel car wash station still my all time favorite present but later on it leaked water on the dinner table so beware. My Mother would buy me only hot wheels too. Most 12 year olds would want clothes, shoes, not me hot wheels. The other car hobby would be my construction trucks and monster trucks. Waching this video makes the little kid in me want to buy a JD car toy town company now selling on his website. Also buy some merch. R.I.P. mother thank you for everything.

Man, you did a helluva job bro! It's really gonna look good when you finish it! And you know you gotta add on to it. I can't believe you found all those different cars and motor homes and stuff. You'll have a little town before you know it LOL. Great to see someone that still does stuff like that with their kids. There are a lot of channels about cars on KZread but you're one of the few that does this and takes the time to include your family and you can tell you enjoy it just as much as little man does! Keep being real and making the family the most important thing in your life!

You did the right thing since I don’t like seeing my or other people kids only playing with the phone or any electrical video games. This is more practical and kids will learn more in real life, more conversations and communications can be created between parents and children.

This has sooo many wonderful things about it first is Dad is one groovy guy! Next the kid is so well behaved and smart. I wonder if Dad realizes he'll build on this well after his boys are grown, because as you see he's still got that innocence about him. Way Kool little family for sure!!!

I've been watching some of your videos and every one I've seen are awesome it looks like a real town. I'm dreaming of one day that I could build a diorama for my self when I have the money to do so but it won't be big as yours and your family. Right now I'm working on mostly cars and trucks but I got started on building food trucks and trailers on 1/64 scale dicast. One time I took a matchbox ice cream truck one of them dollar ones and the body is plastic so, one day I took it apart and I modified it to a ranch truck I,made the front end into a cab and I got rid of the rest of it and build a bed with Dimon plates and I also put on after market tires and wheels. I sure enjoyed your videos you, and your family keep building I may come to y'all town to do some fishing if y'all have a lake there lol. Have a blessful one.
