WE BUILT A BEAST! RIDING THE BIGGEST MTB DIRT JUMP YET!! PLAYGROUND EP28

Ойын-сауық

We have created a monster dirt jump, which is the biggest MTB feature at the whole Playground by far. The big trails line is going to be so epic and in this episode we have built a huge left hip, which is way bigger than the other dirt jumps we've built, so it's more scary for Ben, Jamie and my brother Jono to test ride. The build lapse for this episode is huge but it's definitely the most crazy riding we've seen, with crashes, bails and huge cases on the mega hip. What should we name this thing?
Enjoy the POV shots, the time lapses, digging and riding at our favourite backyard dirt jump spot.

massive respect to Jono hitting that.... I don't think the jump needs changing to be fair, looks like Jono had plenty of speed but at the last moment on the take off he folded in to the bike sucking up his momentum. if you play it on 0.5 speed you can clearly see im not surprised like it looks terrifying

Plus One for the Maths! I'm a Pure Math Major dropout from UCSC. I somehow, as a sufferer of Discalcula (Which is like Dyslexia but with numbers.) I made it, with the aide of lots os scratch paper, to upper division classes. It was Ordinary Differential Equations that finally took me out. ( It's polynomials of integrals.) The first time I was truly confused and deserved to fail, but the second time I felt that I really had a handle on it, but had a far stricter professor and failed again. There was no third time. I dropped out and went to culinary school in Portland. But kept riding and moved back to Santa Cruz.

The set before the big left hip needs more dirt on the landing throughout and leading to the flat bottom to hold an gain speed for that massive left hip, that’s slightly uphill.. if the set before it was bigger I don’t see issue with speed, or the need to change that left hip. Also adding dirt to the set before will shorten the distance of the flat bottom, allowing for more speed. Sort out the kinks! 80%dig 20%ride. Such is trail life. Or in your case ~playground~ life hahah love the content. Keep it up mates!
