We Built a 30'x30' Party Barge In Three Days!!!!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Before you ask why, ask why not? I think everyone needs a party barge or at least a friend with one. I will be using this barge for all sorts of work projects as well as for fun. The weight capacity will be 20k lbs so I can carry heavy equipment and building materials. Thanks for watching!

Benny from Michigan here 🙋🏻‍♂️ Jesse, it was great meeting you, your family and everyone who volunteered to help last weekend❤ This was a big project but had a great time with all of you and some nice meals too. very cool content you recorded, especially the part that I'm diving 🏊🏻‍♂️. You were so quick with posting this. So far I could only transferred all the footage I recorded to my laptop 😂. Hopefully I’ll finish it soon. would be cool to see my POV vs yours for the same weekend

It's so good to see that many of the people replying in the comments 'I wanna help you with the builds' really came to help you and you all had so much fun spending time together and creating such big party deck in just three days. Incredible. I know it's just a beginning of big builds this year, so I hope you will be able to refill batteries before starting the next project and as always - looking forward to see more videos!

Congratulations on the "small" win of competing the barge. Also HUGE shout out to you on how you raise your son's. In this day and age, its such a breath of fresh air seeing a dad with his sons out in the wild being men. I love that. And to your friends for teaching/showing/helping and allowing your boys to work alongside 👏👏...you are a blessed man. I wish I could come from Kenya to assist on a build. That would be my dream.

this video made me so happy to see! Seeing you allowing others to help you and really embracing that was really great to see. Obviously i think it had a great impact on your kids as well. Makes me realize that as humans, we're social creatures. we're not meant to be lone wolves - but rather work in packs. The barge looks awesome too - overall great video!

Brother. You need to put a outboard motor on the barge. That way it’s a dedicated boat. No need to tug or push. You can simply hop on with your vehicles machines, whatever. I know it’s added money but could you imagine how many folks would rent this from you. It would pay for itself. Just my 2 cents. Love you man. Been following since you were struggling and working out of a little shed.

On the Makita vs Milwaukee...I am a Milwaukee guy for some strong and valid reasons. Not all red is better but that comparison was drill vs impact driver. Try drill vs drill next time and with same battery power; it's a more fair race. Also Milwaukee keeps it simpler than anyone else with battery selection. 12v or 18v mainly. There's 28v stuff but not common.

Don't twist up your sling when you are hoisting. It was cute watching your son help hoist, and I was hoping someone would correct him but no one did. For those that don't know twisting the sling will wear that area out faster and apply uneven wear encouraging fraying and cause eventual breaking.

How many drill/drivers did you have to fish out of the lake 😂 I didn't see any tethers on the tools. I don't know how well that's gonna tow. You may have to build yourself some skegs on one end. The real heavy loads I'd lay some sheets of plywood down to spread the weight over the stringers. Good thing you were not running your boat to Malibu, no cell service VHF radio reception not the greatest at the head of Jervis. Not a place to run out of gas 🤣

I would not put heavy equipment on that. All the rotational forces are attached through plastic. Getting equipment on/off would add stress to individual pontoons on the edge. I’d consult with an experienced pontoon builder first…I’d hate to see a small skid steer at the bottom of the lake. I imagine you need steel strapping and link pontoons in water too.
