Its the parents. The parents a stricts mormons. We dont see what going on in real life. But what i do know. Growing up in a mormon family is not freedom. Far away from freedom. The book of mormon is a lie. The church is a lie. All parents lie to their children. When you then get old enough and can research things for yourself, you get chocked what you find out. And you want to leave the church.

Thank you for talking about friends because as second semester has started friendships have definitely been more difficult than first semester. Things have shifted groups are weird and I do feel left out a lot and without a definitive friend group established it’s hard. I used to spend a lot of time by myself and would be fine because I had no friend group that made me have FOMO if I missed out. Now college has turned me into someone that feels uncomfortable alone and like I’m missing out on something. It’s hard. But I’m trying to see the good and be comfortable with myself again

I agree, I had a friend group of me and two of my besties and we were all close but then my two besties had a huge fight and aren’t friends anymore so it’s like I don’t have a friend group just a few friends here and there and I wish I had a group because I love that more but it did suck first semester when I had a friend group to be left out and not invited to much

This video hurt too watch as I am going through something similar and recent. It also comforted me in a way to see how you're taking it. You seem to have found the positive in this and just like you, I'm trying to do me and find myself. It hurts, it does. It takes time and if it's meant to be we will both find our way back to them. If not, they were in our life for a season, but for a reason as well. And it's hard for me to think of it that way.

If it helps I just wanna tell you that it gets easier with the whole friends thing. My first few semesters of college were pretty difficult in that category but I learned a lot about how to rely on just myself. After learning that, I found some pretty great friends. Some of them are graduating, but I am ok with that because I know I have myself if I don’t have anyone else. I’m not really jealous anymore because I know other people aren’t doing things with a bad intention. Keep going you got this.

Ik how your feeling, you get to that point in your life when you notice the hardships of being an adult and it sucks. When I started in high school I have a lot of friends and multiple friend groups but now as a senior I find myself being outcasted and making friends isn’t as easy as it used to. It’s just that time in our lives that we gotta be independent and learn how to grow as a person. Sometimes we just gotta suck it up cause that’s life but at the end of these cruel moments Ik there is something great waiting for us in the future.

Klai, navigating college individually is tough. I have been there. It was one of the hardest things I’ve had to do. However, I’m now in a place where I have the best people surrounding me. God will provide. He sees you and knows your heart and struggles and will move in your life. I highly suggest getting plugged in at a church. Church family is a different kind of family. We are all humans so mistakes are made in church groups and out, but it is worth it to surround yourself with people who will build you up as a follower of Christ. I’m comforted knowing I have the friends I do. You’ve got this. Keep your head up and keep positive. ♥️

Klai I am honored you highlighted this comment. I really hope you're well and that what I said helped in some way. I am a sophomore in college in my second semester so I feel we have some things in common and maybe that's why I felt the need to share my story with you. I have had good and bad experiences and they have really tailored who I have become. All the while, I knew God's plan was going to come to fruition eventually. There's a song called "Whatever Your Plan Is" by Josie Buchanan on Bethel's KZread channel that has come to my attention recently and has really spoken to me. I definitely think you should listen to it. I'm not sure how big you are on worship music, but it is my therapy and provides peace and comfort in tough times. I just thought I would share it with you.
