Same here, my dad found a new family after my parents divorced and he became invisible, no christmas cards, nothing. He showed up out of nowhere 10 years later with a halfassed attempt to reconnect but me and my siblings were so pissed off then so we wanted no part of it. He died in a car crash 4 years ago, it was like a stranger passed because thats what he was.

The realization from both James’s vid regarding his Father and this vid is that, no matter how expensive our “possessions” are, they are just that, “possessions”. Our loved ones are way more precious as when they are gone, they are gone for good and no amount of money or wealth can bring them back. “Life is but a moment guys, cherish it”

For me it is refreshing to see real emotions on a car channel. Like not only "hype hype hype" feelings, but also frustration/anger. And you could really tell, that you still love each other, even though it was a very unfortunate situation. Keep up the amazing work! You're talking/filming/editing skills are pretty much the best in the industry

My son who didn't see the first one can now watch this and we ALL can learn from BDD's level headed ness and your ability to problem solve and keep things in perspective. Ya the original cut was like watching orange county choppers im like uh oh. But i get it once you explained cuz im a third gen in a fam business and been there. When i was younger i had nice sports cars that i adored and could afford because i sacrificed my time for work rather than play and wanted to keep my cars mint so id get pissed and over time people suck and will always want to damage something nice so i just let it go of the energy i had for the cars, just wasnt worth the anger towards people they tried stealing or damaging them. And at this stage in life mid 30s i love my dad more than any car and we are car guys so its a fun bond to have.

It really puts things into perspective. We love the time we have with our Dad. We love to mess with him, that is how we show our love. He actually really does enjoy it!

Imagine not having the emotional maturity to express anger and having to resort to kicking a bush your dad raised you, helped you get where you are, don’t make him feel any worse than he already does for his small mistake in the grand scheme of things
