Try doing sets of 10 reps 1 min rests in between sets. This will elicit a better response since your going to be really struggle half way through.

Use grip gloves instead of chalk for challenges like that, they are cheap (like 15-20euros for good quality ones) and it's a game changer.

I wish i wasn't too shy to go to the gym so i can be a cool youtuber like you guys. Keep up the inspiring work!
