It was only a matter of time before the trolls and jealous haters showed up on this channel. I guess that’s a good sign because that means it is growing enough to reach the bowels of the earth where the trolls reside.

Some clearly don’t understand that you don’t have to ‘Join’ to continue to watch the content. It’s just another level to grow the channel. Some channels have Patreon accounts, etc which helps support the content creator. Subscribing is FREE. Joining is just another way to support the content creator. He’s not ‘selling out’.

You don't need to buy a subscription if you wish not to enter the contest. You will still be able to watch the channel for free.

I really enjoyed your channel because my sister lives up there and it kept me apprised of all the snow and It was amazing to watch something historical like that... However, if you start charging for memberships, I can't come along as I'm on a fixed income and if I subscribe to every single person I'd go bankrupt. Bankrupt so I really appreciate all your videos and good luck!.

Nothing wrong with historical stuff if you have time to refurbish. Once you don't, like you often have, it's time to get rid of it. Restore and donate as a museum piece like the old fire truck. You most definitely don't want that kinda problem when you get in your 60's, and you can't take anything with you when ya die. 😉 You should at least put the skids on pallets to protect from rain, mud etc..Been watching you for many months now, and good job on the winter recoveries! Hell of a winter, but great for the water supplies and drought recovery. Keep up the good work. 👍

KEEP THE MICE OUT!! Get some mini white christmas lights with a blinker bulb and hook them up to a small solar panel, either lay them on the ground or up under the sleds and you will never have mice around. They hate those blinking lights.

5:51 The vintage sled market is crazier than the vintage dirt bike resto market. Our Dad got offered 15 grand for an all original early 70s Rupp Nitro. Guy had one as his first sled and wanted another. My Dad just won't let memories go either. Too many race wins I guess.

Ok people viewing, 1st, and I am making this statement for Ben without permission, the channel stays the same. The Join button you see to the right of the channel name opens the screen where you choose a membership level as Ben described, which gives you the opportunity to win the Polaris. Secondly, and for years and years I have learned people think it cost to Subscribe to a KZread channel. Ben sees in the analytics the percentage of viewers and or Likes to subscribers. He doesn't say to click like and subscribe like many other creators do, but I'm here to tell you it helps the channel in ways I won't go into, & it is FREE. I'm making this comment because there is no need for people to get snarky just because he's added a new feature.

I’ve watched this small business owner enough to know he is not selling out. Like many small business owner’s, is having poor mentorship into breaking through the next rung on the ladder. This was just very poorly rolled out. He need’s to do more research, talk to channels that are twice his subscribers and see how they did it. I love your content man, now let’s pick up the pieces/taxes/subscribers/business and figure next level out…

Some really bizarre negative comments out here today. Subscribing costs nothing...nada...zippo. You can JOIN if you like and pay money, but you don't have to in order to see videos show up in your subscription feed. I'm SUBSCRIBED to lots of channels that I don't pay a monthly fee to be a MEMBER. Like a previous commenter said, if you don't want to enter the contest (or, in my own words, if you don't want to pay for a membership but still wish to subscribe), then just subscribe, for cryin' out loud. Many of the channels I subscribe to or have joined as a paying member have had contests, but this is the first time I've seen such a strange collection of criticism...

I think this channel will last a very long time! Thanks for showing us real down to earth content like the cabins being totally buried in snow and the long icicles hanging off the roofs. Never mind those that don't like diversity, We love you!

Good luck but it's a big NO for me. Seems like many channels just turn into a money grab.

Yeah, because nobody that has a KZread channel is trying to make a living with it, right? 😂 Of course we want the channel to make money most everybody’s dream that starts a channel is to be able to exclusively produce the continent and make a living doing it. I just don’t understand why people have a problem with it doesn’t make sense to me.
