I don't know it personally, but know the story and love the story. sylfia.org Have talked to a number of people about her too...I had seen her for sale and thought she would be an amazing expedition machine! Definitely shout you guys some beers when you are up this way. I'll keep an eye out.

Interesting boat, this is close to what you guys were talking about when discussing SV Delos V2.0 I am sure you guys will team up at times, and think of the numbers of people you should be able to reach. Congrats guys, hope to come aboard someday....

You guys are going to have to make a count of all the people who have sailed on Delos, who have gone on to buy boats of their own.

I have to share something with you. In 2008 my bride of 30 something years and I left Seattle on a 40' Nordhavn, destine for the Panama Canal, then Boston to tour the Fall colors. We spent 18 of the best months of our lives, together, sharing all the experiences you have described. Little did I know this would be the only time in our lives where we could be together for months at a time, unencumbered by work, home ownership, children, family... It was just us. We returned to land life about 2 years late and I went back to work and my bride went on to become a Grandmother and life got back to "normal". Then, 7 months ago, the love of my life left this earth forever, the result of a terrible car accident. So, now, the realization that the time we spent on the boat, on our own, would be the most precious in our lives, as a couple (other than raising children, which was pretty cool as well). Long story short, every day you wake, live it to the fullest, none of us are guaranteed another day on this earth, or ocean. Live bravely, love fully, give fully. Hugs, Scott from Seattle WA.

Exciting! What a great looking boat! Go, kids!

Congratulations guys! I am a long-time Delos Patreon and loved chemistry you guys had onboard for the season! I think what you are doing is great. My wife and I learned to scuba dive for our honeymoon, only for me to have a dive accident (freak thing with my ear) that left me unable to dive ever again. I grew up on the water and love to sail, but now due to some other health issues I will never be able to cross an ocean. So, please know that there are people like me out there that absolutely love the ocean and the sailing life, but unfortunately will never be able to do what you are doing. Watching you guys (and the Delos crew) is inspirational and gives us a view to the world that we know we are missing. We really love you guys for that! Please keep doing it and know that you are making a difference in the lives of many of us in ways you may not even realize! Thanks so much.
