For the money that’s not too shabby. $300 for decent storage, a still-capable processor, a GPU that’s still supported, and a small piece of history.

My first build had those same exact specs and those parts are still being used in other Pc's to this day
I mean $300 ! U cannot complain about much at that price point. I’m shocked at how well this thing preformed in your game testing. Performance is totally acceptable for $300. It’s so crazy looking at these older systems and how the cables are just….there. Zero care about looks back then. Now it’s all about the aesthetic. Love this channel. Great video guys

You could do much better for $300 tho
Oh I had this pc but it went pop! And btw you can change the colour of the top RGB on Asus’s software
I had this! Still rocking a 1060 as well
Insane videos bro
I have this pc in use today. I use it now as i write this message. When i bougt it original for many years ago. It only had a single 8 gb ram stick and a 2 gb graphic card (1050). I upgraded the ram to 16 GB and today i have a KFA 1660 TI (6GB) card in it. I still have the old cpu in it, that is: i5 - 7400 Clocked at 3 GHZ. All the cables i need was included when i bought the graphic card. So i was lucky there. The pc runs well for what it is. When this pc was new back in the days i paid 740 USD for it. So the price you paid for it is fair. You got a larger SSD then i have. I only have a 250 GB SSD in mine. Nice video guys. 🙂
I'm shocked to see those lower temperatures too because some of those ASUS ROG prebuilt PC cases are literal hotboxes, and that Intel stock cooler isn't known for its cooling prowess.
I had gtx 970 and 3770k still worked pretty good for 1080p when i sold it in 2019 for this price.
Doing a Retro Build will be so cool
My son uses the same set up 6700k but his is paired with a rx 5700 he's ready for a platform upgrade but its still going strong only thing he's had a problem with is star field but who's not had trouble with that game
i have exactly the same pc as my movie pc, had to upgrade cause the 970 wasn't cutting it anymore, but for my first desktop it was great
SELLER TRIED to play off The unigen Heaven Benchmark Score ON 720P Test LOL
I’m on a budget around 1000$ I have little to no idea what to look for or if it’s worth going a little cheaper for a prebuilt or not if possible I would like any tips or suggestions I’ve never built a pc and wouldn’t have any idea how to start but any suggestion would be helpful
do a vid on stuff that can be upgraded on that old beast

All they'd really have to do is put a different graphics card in. Even a RX580 2048SP would give it a decent performance boost. I finally retired the GTX 970 that had moved from my gaming PC to my Media PC last year. There was still untapped performance there I feel but it could never get used because of the lack of vRAM.

I had put the whole internals in another case and used a 1000w power supply and put a gtx 1080 ti, upgraded the dual channel 16gb ram with 16gb crucial ram and a SSD boot drive, rocking the i7 7700.
That's about what I paid for my system, but I bought a Dell optiplex 7050 with an i5 6600. I upgraded it to 64gb ddr4 and put a gt 1030 2gb gddr5 into ot
that is a very good price for those specs, im jealous that I cant find deals like this (I already have a pc, its for my friends and family)
Buy the full bundle of the stgaubron pls
My GF has this PC, but with a GTX 980ti, still going strong. She was held back by 8GB of DDR3, but I slapped 32 GB of RAM in and it's good to go.

That could easily last another 5-10 years, assuming the PSU or MB doesn't give up the ghost.
loving the consistent uploads! always having a vid to watch while eating lol
9:00 considering you can get an RX 580 or a GTX 1070 for less than $100, there is a lot of reason to swap out that 970 lol Double the VRAM and like 40% faster on average
day 11 I was in temu and found PC parts on there heres a list of them: GPU motherboard ram SSDs fans AIO case. I couldn't find a CPU but i would just use something a round the price of the GPU, I would also get accessories for the all temu setup. i would love to see this video come out. you guys are the best

Those stickers are actually a pretty good idea for the people that would be in the market for a startup PC like this. Probably a parent that wants a cheap PC for their kids at a second hand shop or FB market place. Those are the people that plug chords in the wrong place and may struggle to find the power button on that case.
yup 4gb vram in 2015 was awesome kinda is still relevant lol

Which is better? This PC for $299 or the $300 PC that I bought. Keep in mind that my PC didn't come with a PSU or storage but I had those from a previous build. My PC specs: MSI Z370-A PRO MOTHERBOARD i7 8700k ASUS GTX 1060 6GB Turbo 16GB DDR4 RAM Corsair H100i 240mm AIO cooler KEDIERS C570 open air case with 7 RGB fans.

Your PC by far, even if you didn't have storage or a PSU. You can get those off marketplace from some old mining rigs for $20 a pop
does that have built in wifi?
I just bought another PC just like this with the exact same specs this morning! For $316! Wow 😲😳😂❤ great timing!!!!
This was my first PC! Rocked with the 6400 and the 1060 for a few years, then upgraded to a new PC with a 1660, and now I'm at a 3060 ti. My next PC is gonna be my first "high end" one because I'll have a career salary that could pay for a monster >:)
you need a bit more up with the sniper, the more far your sniping from, the more higher you need to aim with the sniper
Hi Toasties, built a very similar system to this for my son after he passed his exams in 2015. I went for a 980 along with the 6700k. He used it daily until 18 months ago when we finally upgraded. Thanks for the memories!
That's a good buy, shove a RTX 2060/2070 Super, or 3060 (Ti) and this PC will be good to go for a few more years.
I've always found it funny how those Asus ROG prebuilt PCs don't actually use Asus ROG parts
01:48 DOH!!!!!! OH a Dollar ! Clang!!!!

I just got one today for 175$ it's not a bad deal !
i'd like to see some performance from an i7 9700 cpu build

I have an i7 9700kf with a 6700 xt - I don't have any benchmarks but I run cyberpunk at ultra settings 1080p and it's very smooth. unfortunately the 9th gen i7 is only 8 core 8 thread, unlike the 9900k. I am still pretty happy with my 9700kf though, it's solid for the gaming I do. It loads civilization and minecraft pretty fast
I still have the i5 7th Gen version of this PC, mine came with a GTX1050 and now has a GTX1650. It plays Battlefield 4 well enough for my liking. 😁

Nice! If you are planning to keep it look around for a compatible i7. If you can get it cheap will make that machine a good bit better. The hyper threading really smooths out the hiccups in modern games.
Oh hey! I had one of these, the Asus G11 was really good value when the GPU mining craze happened in 2018, well, the one I had at least. It had a ryzen 5 1400 and a GTX 1060 6GB turbo card in mine.
This was my first gaming pc! My friend gave it to me back in 2017 but mine had an i7-6700 non k with a gtx 960 and Hard drive. Now it’s a guest pc and it’s been upgraded to a gtx 970 and an SSD.

6th and 7th gen only.
One thing I've learned from watching your videos is that you guys suck when using sniper rifles, play far better when not using them, but you keep chasing that one hit kill high. Oddly admirable.
Whats a low price for a upgrade cpu from a intel 2 core duo (yes I know it sucks) and a Amd Radeon 7570 (sucks too) but what's a decent but not too spendy upgrade?
@evers6214

For low budget could go with 3rd or 4th gen i7, About $100 for cpu mb and 16gb ram. Then get rx570 or 580 8gb gpu, used for $60. Those parts will blow away what u have

Intel 12100f or intel 12100 which has integrated graphics or ryzen 5500, 5600 or the 5600g has integrated graphics equivalent to a GTX 750 Ti according to one post I seen. Honestly I believe believe both igpu's would probably be better than your current graphics card. You would effectively upgrade both cpu and gpu just from buying a new cpu with integrated graphics. If you don't have enough money to buy a CPU and a GPU at the same time or it will be quite some time then I would get the best CPU I could for the money that has integrated graphics on either intel or amd platforms because the igpu on any CPU over $100 will likely be better than your current graphics card.

If you want to stay on the motherboard socket, Core 2 Quad Q6600 (If you only play games from that era). Most games won't run on the 2008 architecture so I'd recommend getting a used older gen i5 or i7 and motherboard. For the GPU, you could look into RX 570 GPUs. If this is out of your budget or overkill for what you play, maybe get something cheaper.

why would you buy windows keys when its a free upgrade

I'm in the 6700k club. Have been for years. A gtx1080 founders is sitting underneath it. And its an alienware!!!!! Shame shame...I know. But I can still play modern games on medium settings.

for 300 dollars that actually aint half bad
A 6700k is still a very capable chip. I still run my plex server off of one.
Does anyone know I am looking to upgrade my graphics card? Will a Ddr5 graphics card work on my Ddr4 motherboard I have i7 2nd gen 3770
@Safetytrousers
5 ай бұрын
Any GPU made for a socket will work on any PC with that socket. Of course a present gen GPU will work on a DDR4 PC. The RTX 30 series came out when there were no DDR5 systems. GPU memory is GDDR. A GPU can be bottlenecked by an older system though, depending on the GPU and the system.
@gt8200-0

@@Safetytrousers I agree, a newer GPU will be heavily bottlenecked by their i7-3770.

@Pasi123

GDDR5 has existed long before even DDR4 was a thing, you can use GDDR5, GDDR6 etc. graphics cards on older motherboards. Also if you have an i7-3770 then you have a DDR3, not DDR4 motherboard. The i7-3770 is 3rd gen, not 2nd gen.
300 bucks for this? ouch. fun mess around project though
Cool! ❤
THE FACT THAT U NEVER PLAY CS2 FOR TESTING IS CRAZYY
Pfft $49 on shipping 😂 I just shipped a pc I sold to someone it weighed 30 pounds and cost me $118 to ship
