Kind of like a hush hush wink wink type deal, the big names who draw in big PPV's etc they more than likely "look the other way"...logically it gives them more control on outcomes as well!

@@jessecerasus9621 I dont think thats how p4p works. Being heavy weight or flyweight doesn't have anything to do with it. Example, if Joe's kick is 152k and if he's 194 lbs, his ratio will be 783 unit/lb. if Franklin's kick is 173k but if he weigh 225 lbs, then his power to weight ratio will be lower at 767 units/lb. Based on that example, Joe kicks stronger pound for pound. Again those are just example numbers. P4p in simplest definition like in most fighting sports is basically being the best or strongest regardless of the fighter's actual weight. Like if Floyd or Manny weighs 147 or 125 or 200 lbs, with the same skill and proportional power, they will still dominate and be the best in that division.

It just happened that Alexander Usyk, the #1 p4p is a heavyweight. But before him, it was Inoue (a bantam weight) and Crawford (welterweight). How can these 2 smaller fighters even place higher than most heavyweight based on your definition? You need to research more and not just train if you're really a fighter.

Joe Rogan is insanely powerful it's one of those situations where you can say you have the world record because so few people attempted it. Also we can see this isn't the same machine Joe used even if it the same power measurment the machine these guys are using is clearly way different. The machine used in this video is the equivalent of a circus minigame (fraud) where you can kick it with 150,000 powercubes of force but if you don't hit the middle target it will be sub 50k powercubes of force . The machine Joe Rogan was using was way more advanced and calculated the speed and force no matter where he landed the kick , he didn't have to hit a very specific target .

I believe it’s because if you are continuing to drive and you push off the bag to recoil it will register the push off as a secondary kick and give the reedings for that I believe the secret is to pull back right when the power is full Because there were some powerful kicks that didn’t read high because after they transferred the power it was still generating force at maybe 50% max power, and when it gave the final reading it might have gave 50% of 160,000 instead of if they blasted full power and immediately dropped after full power instead of carrying through where it would’ve been the full 160k I’d be interested if they performed they same test but somehow programmed the cube to read peak power instead of the last measured power, because there were some visibly powerful shots that read weaker than shots that weren’t as powerful but were immediately snapped back I also imagine an extremely powerful kicker that loves to drive through might score worse than a snappy kicker that isn’t that powerful

I'd love to see a scientist come in and test this thing with some calibrated tools (a calibrated and fixed strike power tool, a scientific measurement tool for measuring kinetic energy, and a good ol' camera + measurement chart) . Some of the output doesn't always match what you're seeing from the strike, so either we are seeing deceptively hard strikes or there's a really tiny sweet spot the sensors and algorithm like. That's why I think they convert it to their own "Franklins" ... because giving an actual force rating out would probably not produce accurate results. By using their own metrics, they mask that. It's like those punch games at arcades/bars, once you understand how the simple measuring sensor works, you can easily beat it (hint: it measures the time diff between light sensor A and B being tripped). *Edit* And if I had to guess what this device is actually doing, I'd bet it's a simple electronic scale measurement coupled with a sensor to detect when the pad is first touched (tied to when the force stops, so you have velocity over the depth of the pad).
