I actually prefer the way they were in season 1 and 2 -- some audiences like slice of life stuff, and then in the later ones the crazy stuff started to feel like Regular Show when something non-magical but still off the wall happens. IMO they spent too much time on the Baby Bears episodes because while a few of them were good it started to get gratuitous The endings of the baby bears are usually, something happens that keeps them from getting a home, but then the later ones they move on from somewhere they could have stayed just because the plot calls for them to move on. Then they had 2 baby bear episodes in a row sometimes and it was like, I kind of want to see what the adult bears are up to. I want to see them filling the holes and needs they wanted from childhood, or coming to terms with not getting those things In the movie when Grizz is having nightmares because he has to take care of Panda and Ice Bear and feels like he can't do it, I wanted to see more stuff like that (instead of a ninja turtles parody)

Underrated modern CN show that I've been waiting for you to watch! It's just relaxing. Fun fact: Estelle (Garnet's VA) helped with the theme song. 10:45 And yeah, that's Charlyne Yi (Ruby's VA). They are great as Chloe! (Lotta help from SU staff... ) And yeah, looking back, I wouldn't blame people for calling it meh since it was more for the year(s) it aired. Grizz could sometimes be the catalyst for that, but given how much he tries to fit in with a cool crowd, that fits his character and I still loved him for that regardless. I was in middle school when the show came out and I never realized that I was basically him, trying too hard to fit in with other people whose minds were instilled with certain internet culture that - for me - spawned outta fucking nowhere and realizing that it wasn't working for me. I just had to accept that I wasn't as prone to it, and that was probably for the best.

Yeah, the forshadowing at the beginning sort of too short that by the time that we got to the end, we almost forget the whole idea of how Baby Grizz got stuck on the tree... the moment they show how the firefighter that wearing foil is comfort for Baby Grizz, that when you realize why he "in love" with the burrito

I mean, it's because is an earnestly sad scene. But people often confuse the lack of cynicism as cringe or secretly deceiving. After all, the show is about the bears wanting to fit into a society that alienates them and along the way find people who care for them for who they are.
