Intresting to know my friend circle and mehfil are child of Grand hotel, the mutton biryani in my friends circle is next level but on a spicier side.

It's 2012, I came here to Abids for GATE coaching of course, I didn't get the Desired Rank. The Grand hotel is the place I was introduced to Dum biryani, Irani chai and batha kani. So Nostalgic moments were tied with this place. Abids has really some good food spots like Uday cafe, Pragati tiffins, Bombay Juice center. And all these places are budget friendly at that time and now as well.

Please do a video on Biryani that is served at Garden Restaurant near Clock Tower, Secunderabad. It is one of the best Biryani's that I was having since my childhood. This place was introduced to me by my Dad, He was having Biryani there since he was a child.

By the way , I paid only Rs 12/- for a plate of Mutton Biryani ( The quantity was lesser though by then ) I think Bawarchi RTC Cross Roads has redefined the portion size of all the Irani Restaurants serving Biryanis.

I live very close to this restaurant Hotel Grand . Not only did the looks of it change but also food. Grand Hotel , used to serve a delicious Paya which is not served anymore. I had paya at every restaurant in Hyderabad but Grand Hotel's Paya was very unique, thick and absolutely delicious. I last had paya before 2004 . The owner candidly admitted to his dumbness and I would appreciate if he revives those lost dishes. Traditional receipes must not be tinkered. Now my GUT is missing the Grand Hotel's Paya.
