This song is a source of strength for me. A reminder that Christ is at my side or carrying me through my darkest times. It is a musical representation of strength given to us by Christ through Him alone.

They actually made their first big name for themselves when they won a contest to play at Creationfest Northwest in 06 or 07. Since then they have toured with a few major Christian bands.

I think this song leans in Christian areas (vaguely) not because of cross and lap part, but because of the lyrics: "My child you are mine, except my sacrifice." That, and the fact they were at WinterJam, a Christian concert. Either way these guys flipping rock.

Saw them at winter jam today( They rocked it)!!! And ( I just want to give my opinion on this) I don't know about you, but I believe that just because an instrument is played in a certain way, it means that it comes from hell or that the way something sounds is satanic. I take a song as Christian by what the words say and the message the artist tries to get across.

@gravemind011 i agree in this song, and in a few there guitarist sounds like noah from pillar, but its really hard to compare this bands lol

Just because you don't fit in and don't "get it" doesn't mean Satan is the author. I think you might pass by many Christian brothers and sisters because they don't "look like a Christian". Yes they are christian, but this song is more about war, in fact it is about a certain date, June 6th 1944, as you can kinda hear in the beginning before he starts singing.

They sound like a mix of Skillet and Thousand Food Krutch.

@billundgusta4ever Head banging is like a form of dancing, different music calls for different styles of dancing. I personally never use the "rock on sign" What do you mean by "dudes with really long hair?" Jesus had long hair, so how can their being anything wrong with it. Technically he never screams in this song, he just raises his voice a little. This is one of the few Christian rock bands that actually say Jesus in their songs, and personally that's why their one of my favorite bands.

Sadly it only took them till the next ep to lose this AMAZING sound. Favorite song, somehow beats fault line by august burns red...just that raw charisma, that they don't have anymore :( As a clarification, I still like and listen to their new stuff, but it is nothing like this

Have you this bands song "I Stand", "Martyrs Theme" or "Where We Are." Their songs may be rock, but they are all about Jesus. So please explain, why can't rock be used for Christians?

That doesn't make sense. The devil would never let you tell others about Christ and share the truth about him so they may emulate him. That's exactly what he doesn't want. What you said would be to work against himself. And Satan cannot keep you from living a godly life if you are indwelt by the holy spirit. He has no power over you. And this band is very much indwelt by the spirit. I wish guys like you would stop trying to make Christianity look so black and white.
