@@charlieberry7562 it’s just a silly lyric, she had nothing else to rhyme it with, it’s not like she advocates for male violence or abuse. Listen to the previous lyric about breaking the mold and her thinking he’s nothing special. I think she just wanted something to rhyme that with so she just came up with a filler phrase. I don’t think it’s too deep personally but I don’t know much about this song apart from liking it 10 years ago

I really enjoy this record the most of the three, I feel like this album had more to offer rather than the typical teenage drama that was on the previous records. The album tackles real life situations, expressing anger, sadness, regret, and mourning. This was a much needed shift in writing and it has to be one of my favorite albums to date.

Agreed! Rather than half of the songs being about breakups, "Weird Kids" includes songs like "Windows in Heaven" that talk about much more mature topics, such as dealing with death. It seems that the band truly writes from the heart; their songs grow just as they do themselves. Songs like "Attention" that represent the need to redefine oneself also serve as a juxtaposition with the band's new redefined musical style. One other thing to also note is the interesting topic of being yourself or who you want to be("Reflections") and the struggle of doing so("Waiting").

How have I only now found this band?? They’re so good!

I love this song, Tay's voice sounds much more powerful than the previous album where she still sounded like a little girl haha. This band's just matured way too much than I ever expected :)

I hope Jordan gets to sing more on the rest of the album than he does in this song and "Attention." Him and Tay finishing each other's sentences are what I like most about this band.

This is definitely going to be their best album. Tay's voice is getting even better than it was (i.e 0:20).

Listening to music like Simple Plan, All Time Low, Man Overboard, You Me At Six, Blink-182, etc along with WATIC is really nice cause Tay is such a great role model for all the girls who listen to these punk bands

Why are so many comparing this to Paramore? I do think they have some similarities, but every band have some similarities with another. Okay, they have a punk-ish style, but a lot of bands do. The vocalist is a girl, and in many bands the vocalist is a girl. This is neither the new Paramore, or a copy of them. It's another awesome band, so just sit down and enjoy! every band with a female vocalist get compared to hayley williams.wtf just because paramore is successful,that doesnt mean every female vocalist in a band wants to be her or is copying her! dont get me wrong i was a fan of paramore (before the farro brothers left) and i still do listen to their old music till now.

LOVE THIS SONG!!! that being said, i'm no expert on band image maintenance, but my suggestion is to remember that Tay isn't the only member of the band. she's beautiful, and I understand the story part being just her, but the rest of the video barely showed the other members..
